Abstract: The power storage cell includes a wound electrode body, a case, an internal gasket (a seal member), a positive electrode terminal (an external terminal), and a positive electrode connecting portion (a connecting member). The case includes a peripheral wall portion, a lower lid (first lid portion), and an upper lid (second lid portion). The lower lid has an exhaust valve for exhausting the gas in the case. A through hole (second through hole) is formed in the upper lid (second lid). The positive electrode connecting portion includes a columnar portion extending in the Z direction so as to penetrate the through hole of the upper lid and the through hole (first through hole) of the inner gasket. The inner gasket is disposed so as to cover the through hole from the inside of the case.

The update map outputs the updated relationship defining data. The reward calculating process includes a changing process that changes the reward, provided when the characteristic of the vehicle is a predetermined characteristic, such that the reward in a case where torque generated by an internal combustion engine is used to generate the propelling force of the vehicle differs from the reward in a case where the torque is not used to generate the propelling force.

The recording process obtains a value of the state variable used in calculation of the operated amount using the first operation process during an operation of the operated unit using the second operation process. The recording process also records time-series data of the obtained value of the state variable in the memory device.

A self-driving mode of a vehicle automatically generates a command value of a propelling force produced by a propelling force generator independently of an accelerator operation. An execution device provides a greater reward based on an obtained state of the vehicle when a standard of a characteristic of the vehicle is met than when the standard is not met. Providing the reward changes a reward that is provided when the characteristic of the vehicle is a predetermined characteristic in the self-driving mode such that the changed reward differs from a reward that is provided when the characteristic of the vehicle is the predetermined characteristic in a manual driving mode.

Abstract: A CPU uses relationship-defining data to set a throttle command value and a gear ratio command value on the basis of time-series data of an accelerator operation amount, a vehicle speed, and a gear ratio. The CPU operates a throttle valve and a transmission in accordance with the throttle command value and the gear ratio command value and obtains a rotation speed, a torque, a torque command value, and an acceleration at that time. When a predetermined amount of time is completed, the CPU updates the relationship-defining data by providing a reward depending on whether the torque and the acceleration meet standards. The CPU changes the reward depending on whether a position is a merging point.
