摘要: According to one example, a cooking vessel support grate includes a grate with at least two downward extending legs, with each leg having a lower surface. The cooking vessel support grate further includes an upward extending cavity disposed on the lower surface of each of the legs, and an elastic member attached to each of the legs. The elastic member has an upper portion that at least partially fills the cavity of the respective leg. The elastic member further has a lower portion that projects downward from the lower surface of the respective leg and that covers the surface area of the lower surface of the respective leg.

摘要: The invention relates to a water-cooled sliding combustion grate, comprising a combination of movable grate plates (6) and stationary grate plates (5). The length of the grate plates (5, 6) passing over the grate track width is more than 6 meters. The movable grate plates (6) are driven by one parallel drive each, which comprises two separate drive units, which can each move a respective end area of a movable grate plate (6) back and forth, wherein the two drive units can be synchronized. To separate the primary air transversely over the grate track over a plurality of areas, at least one partition can extend along the grate track under the grate. Each partition is moved along with the lower faces of the grate plates (5, 6) at the upper edge of said partitions so that said partitions are fully connected everywhere to the lower faces of the grate plates.

摘要: A grate assembly (10) for a gasifier for gasifying carbonaceous material producing ash includes an upper rotatable grate component (11) and a lower rotatable support structure (12) fastened to the upper rotatable grate component (11) by a plurality of removable fasteners (15) acting to prevent vertical displacement of the upper rotatable grate component (11) and the lower rotatable support structure (12). The lower rotatable support structure (12) is configured to be drivingly rotated about a common vertical axis of rotation (21) shared with the upper rotatable grate component (11). The assembly (1) further includes at least two key torque transmitters (16) spaced angularly relative to the common axis of rotation (21) and engaging the upper rotatable grate component (11) and the lower rotatable support structure (12) to transfer torque from the lower rotatable support structure (12) to the upper rotatable grate component (11) when the lower rotatable support structure (12) is driven.

摘要: A fire log arrangement for use in conjunction with a combustible fuel source and influences complete combustion of the combustible fuel. The fire log arrangement includes a first log and a second log. The first log and the second log define an interior face. The second log is spaced apart from the first log such that a fuel space is defined therebetween. The fuel space receives the combustible fuel therein and defines a fire chamber at a lower end thereof. The first log interior face and the second log interior face cooperate to induce the combustible fuel to fall inward between the first log and the second log thereby inducing a thorough combustion of the combustible fuel.

摘要: A loose-material grate includes a grate surface for receiving loose material and a chamber arrangement below the grate surface supplies the grate surface with a gas, for example cooling air. A lattice arrangement with adjustable openings is provided spaced from the grate surface. The adjustable openings communicate with grate surface openings of the associated grate surface. The lattice arrangement preferably is divided into several lattice sections, which have openings adjusted independently from one another, whereby the adjustable openings of the lattice sections, each sealed off from other lattice sections, communicate with the grate surface openings of associated areas of the grate surface. The adjustable openings of the lattice sections enable adjustment of the resistance of the grate, if necessary, differently at various grate sections depending on the demands for cooling.

摘要: A furnace grate roller, mainly for incinerating refuse, with a tubular casing formed by rings of bars separated by blow gaps of set width, is of conventional structure, comprising a cylindrical cage framework with T-shape cross-section longitudinal members disposed along its generatrices and a casing formed of groups of rings separated by gaps for blowing combustion-supporting air. The rings are segmented into arcuate bars which extend between the longitudinal members. To limit relative movement of the bars while allowing them some play the bars are attached at one end by a notch to the flange of a longitudinal member and are secured in place by bosses on an intermediate member bolted longitudinally to the longitudinal member. The bars have recesses at their end contiguous with the intermediate member into which the bosses are inserted. In this way the bars are attached with limited capacity for movement relative to the roller in the axial, radial and peripheral directions.

摘要: A furnace for burning dry or wet wood waste products such as hogged bark and the like is provided with a grating therein comprised of aligned rows of bricks resting on supporting cross beams, with at least some of the rows of bricks maintained a uniform distance from other rows of bricks by spacers disposed between such spaced-apart rows of bricks. The furnace is charged by turbulent air entering both above and below the grating, with a select portion of such air being pre-heated. A temperature gradient is established between an area immediately beneath the grating and the area above the grating in the range of 2200.degree. F. and can be controlled by selected initial placement of the bricks and spacers to achieve an optimum cross sectional area for flow of heated, turbulent air through the grating to produce a temperature for efficient heating, drying and burning of wood waste products in an essentially pollution-free manner.

摘要: A grate bar has a grate bar head, two side walls, a running surface behind the head and between the side walls and an underside disposed below the surface and between the side walls. A recess in one side wall forms an air slot between the surface and underside and is arranged only on one side wall, not in its opposite side wall. In a grate bar arrangement including multiple grate bars, each including a running surface and a grate bar head, in which an upper grate bar with grate bar head is moveably arranged relative to a lower grate bar so that the head may slide over front and rear grate bar running surface areas, the running surface has air slots in the front and rear areas and the head is displaceable relative to these slots so that the opening cross section of all slots remains constant.
