    摘要: An instruction method for learning of mental arithmetic includes finger training, instruction instrument training and abstract training that are proceeded orderly and gradually in stages. The finger training mainly focuses on movements of ten fingers of user's two hands to form different gestures to match a calculation table to interpret the essentials of numeric decomposition and combination in calculations, and to practice finger exercises related to the calculations. The instruction instrument training aims to form graphics of numerals on a paper card to enable users to move and position the fingers on the paper card according to the numerals of different digits to do exercises of multi-digit calculations. The abstract training is executed after the user becomes skillful of the instruction instrument training to enable users to form naturally images of the paper card and finger movements and positions in the brain.

    摘要: A device that teaches the relationship between a circle, its diameter and its radius. The device includes a circular ring that has a rigid intersecting bar representing its diameter. Attachment mechanism allows flexible diameter bars to be attached around the outer perimeter of the circle. Flexible bars the same size as the diameter or the radius are available to attach to the outer perimeter by way of the attachment mechanism. Additional flexible bars are available at 0.14 diameters and 0.28 radiuses in length. When the flexible diameter bars are attached to the circle, three diameters bars and one 0.14 diameter bar are affixed around the circle's circumference representing 3.14 diameters. When the flexible radius bars are attached to the circle, six radius bars and one 0.28 radius bar are affixed around the circle's circumference representing 6.28 radius.

Methods are presented of animating these symbols to exhibit the transformations and, optionally, link these animations with the corresponding animations of a concrete pictorial model. Such animations are the modern dynamic “illustrations” of these transformations.Methods are described of computer controlled sequencing of the animations with corresponding animations of a concrete analogical model.

Each component has a face color from a set of colors and contains on its face the outline of a geometric shape from a set of geometric shapes.     摘要: A two-stage training device for statistical studies permits the demonstration of advanced statistical principles. Balls are dropped from an upper reservoir through a maze of pins which scatters the balls into a histogram having that shape of a normal curve. The balls from individual cells of the histograms are dropped through a second maze of pins into a second set of vertical cells to form a series of histograms. Dropping subsequent sets of balls from many of the upper cells, visually demonstrates, that: "The Sum Of Normal Independent Sets Of Events Is Normal".
