    摘要: A construction teaching set for education. A polyhedral block body has first and second divided members and provided by engaging and assembling of the first and second divided members. Each of the first and second divided members has a rectangular plane, a plurality of rectangular inclined surfaces adjoining sides of the rectangular plane, triangular connectors formed between the adjacent rectangular inclined surfaces, and a plurality of vertical skirts extending from the plurality of rectangular inclined surfaces and the triangular connectors. A connection bar has a protruding fastener at one end or both ends to be selectively connected to one among a first fastening hole passing through the rectangular plane, second fastening holes passing through the plurality of rectangular inclined surfaces, and third fastening holes formed in a pair of the vertical skirts adjoining each other. A coupling unit generates coupling force for the first and second divided members.

    摘要: A computing appliance for geometric planimetry is provided, comprising a container, a vertical dividing rule, a horizontal dividing rule, a horizontal point line and a middle point line. A fluid is filled into the container, and the vertical dividing rule, the horizontal dividing rule, the horizontal point line and the middle point line are configured on a same instructing surface of the container and arranged on each of the periphery surrounding like a rectangle. When the container is vertically disposed, a fluid level is aligned with the horizontal point line. And, when the container is tilted to form at least one angle, an area of at least one geometric shape can be derived by employing the vertical dividing rule, the horizontal dividing rule, the horizontal point line and the middle point line.

Consequently, the device could also be used to calculate the reciprocal sine, cosine, and tangent functions. The device constitutes of a protractor and a graduated ruler attached thereof.     摘要: Techniques for teaching geometric proof problems are described. According to one approach, the geometric proof application displays a geometric proof problem and a set of connectable nodes in an initial arrangement. A user then rearranges the set of connectable nodes and connects them using one-way connections to generate a solution. The geometric proof problem is solved if the user-generated solution indicates the correct logical ordering of the set of connectable nodes as determined by the geometric proof application.

    摘要: The present invention provides a teaching aid system (10) for assisting students in applying trigonometric classroom lessons in real life applications both in indoor and outdoor settings. The teaching aid system consists of a pivoting scope (16) and an asymmetrically weighing gravity dial (18) that are pivotally mounted to a pair of support members (12). A tape measure (42) and an arithmetic electronic calculator (46) are attached on the support members (12) to enable students compute trigonometric formulations and applications of the same, when utilizing the system for real life objects either in indoor or outdoor settings. For determining dimensions of viewed objects, the student determines the distance from the viewed object using the tape measure (42), and the angles between the top and bottom of the viewed object using the scope (16) and gravity dial (18). Then applying the proper trigonometric formulae from a booklet or other conventional trigonometric formulae sources, the student can determine the height, elevations or slopes of objects.
