摘要: An intelligent power connecting device includes two connecting units to be connected and on-off units. The connecting units have conductor parts, insulation parts, and trigger units; the on-off units are electrically connected with the trigger units; delay units can be connected in series between the on-off units and the trigger units. A short circuit or electric leakage caused by instant electric conduction of the connector in a connecting process can be avoided. Intelligent control is achieved and the short circuit or electric leakage phenomenon caused by instant electric conduction is prevented during connection in the complex environment; electrified positions of the connector are fully isolated from the external environment and the connector is intelligently controlled; the insulation parts of the connector can achieve sealing isolation, the connected positions are effectively isolated from the complex external environment, and thus the two connecting units can be intelligently connected in the complex environment.

The control system includes a temperature sensor and a transceiver with the temperature sensor sensing a temperature at a location within the housing and the transceiver transmitting a signal representative of the temperature to an alarm device remotely located from the electrical connector. The electrical connector can include one or more switches that are remotely controllable by the alarm device to interrupt the electrical connection between the male plug and the female socket.

摘要: A ground overcurrent control system includes ground circuit with a first section and a second section. The first section is electrically connected to a ground member of an electrical connector and the second section is electrically connected to a ground reference. A switch element is positioned between the first section of the ground circuit and the second section of the ground circuit. A controller is configured to determine the current within the ground circuit while current is passing through the switch element and, upon the current exceeding a current threshold, the switch element is modified to an open condition. Upon determining that the voltage between the first section of the ground circuit and the ground reference is less than a voltage threshold, a command is generated to modify the switch element back to a closed condition.
