Abstract: A protective arrangement for an electronic device includes a flexible cover having a panel and a skirt that form an interior cavity to receive an electronic device; and an adapter fixedly positioned in the flexible cover and having a male plug with connectors extending into the interior cavity of the flexible cover for mating with a female socket of the device and a contactor with contacts adjacent outwardly from the flexible cover and electrically coupled to one or more of the connectors of the plug. A docking cradle or external adapter can receive the electronic device and cover.

Abstract: A protective case for a mobile electronic device is disclosed herein. The protective case includes a front portion and a back portion that is configured to slide into a side of the front portion to effectuate the sealing and closure of the case. The front portion is configured to cover the front face and sides of the device and includes rails or protrusions on opposing sides of its internal surface. The back portion is configured to cover the back side of the device and includes channels on opposing sides that are configured to be slid along the rails on the opposing sides of the internal surface of the front component and thereby open and close the ease. The protective case is configured to be reversibly attached to a stand module that facilitates multiple viewing/operating positions.

Abstract: A switch assembly for engaging a switch of an electronic device includes a rotatable knob having an axis of rotation, a pin mechanism engaged with the rotatable knob, and a slider body. The pin mechanism includes a pin, the pin being offset from the axis of rotation of the rotatable knob. The slider body is shaped to include a slot in which the pin of the pin mechanism is positioned and a switch recess shaped to receive and selectively contact the switch of the electronic device.
