摘要： The condom holder according to the invention comprises fasteners for fixing the condom edge, and a connection between said fasteners; said connection at least partially being elastic, the holder at least partially defining a space in which the condom can be placed; the holder being adapted to change the shape of said connection between a first configuration in which said space is reduced, and a second configuration in which said space is expanded. In the first said configuration at least part of said connection is strained and tends to transform into the second configuration, and in the second configuration said strain is partially released.Due to the fact that the holder is elastic, the condom placed therein is automatically stretched as required, there is no need to control the force applied by the user. The condom can be put on using only one hand holding the holder. Further, the possibility of excessive or insufficient expansion of the holder is excluded.

摘要： A paste filled suction cup allows a platform to hold objects onto non-smooth surfaces. Laser levels and other devices can be affixed to this platform so that they can be quickly and easily placed on a wall. The action of the paste in the suction cup allows the suction cup to provide a temporary bond to the surface. The use of a water-soluble paste makes it easy to clean the wall after removing the suction cup. The paste also lets the platform be positioned by keeping it in the pasted area.

An adjustable nut, or similar, retains a collet within the wrench and adjusts the wrench to different sizes of tools (i.e. taps) and adjusts the gripping force applied when the cam is locked. The collet is preferably reversible, accommodating different tool sizes on each end, but may also be single ended.

摘要： A device for mounting plate-like elements, such as glass plates, that form an object, for example shelves, when several are mounted together, and that are at first temporarily held by the mounting device and then fixed, for example, glued to each other, includes a suction line for generating a vacuum, the suction line being fastened to the elements, and components, for example, bars, that can be removably linked to each other and upon which the suction line can be removably fastened. The suction line can be coupled to flexible tubes which are coupled to a suction chamber and a suction pump. A manually-operated check valve is provided in the suction line connecting a suction region to the flexible tube. A small fixed gap, approximately 0.3 mm, is provided between the suction area and the surface of one of the plate-like elements, so that the suction holding force acts quickly when the check valve is opened. The suction regions defined by the suction line are coupled to the flexible tube by a small bore defining a diameter of approximately 1 mm such that any pressure increase in the suction region of the suction line does not affect the remaining portions of the suction system, or affects them only very slowly. The device of the present invention can be assembled in a quick, simple and precise manner.

摘要： A finger wrench or the like for threading and unthreading articles such as nuts or bolts has a pair of slidingly interfitted jaw members with respective finger openings and article gripping edges between the finger openings. In use, the gripping edges are opened out and fitted over an article to be manipulated so as to engage opposite surfaces of the article. Torque is applied through the finger openings. Increased leverage may thus be applied to the article compared with gripping it directly in the fingers, the increase in lever arm being represented by the distance from the respective gripping edges to the finger openings.

摘要： The invention concerns an improvement of the means for locking the gripping member of a pair of gripping tongs against rotation described in the U.S. Pat. No. 3,576,343, said improvement consisting in that the chuck, into which the gripping member is drawn for closing the jaws of the tongs around the object to be seized, is axially displaceable on a pin projecting forwards from a locking member, the end faces of the chuck and of the locking member facing each other being provided with axially projecting coupling teeth to produce a claw coupling engagement between the coupling member and the chuck when the gripping members are drawn into the chuck. A resilient member between the pin, on which the chuck is displaceable, and a flange in the chuck is provided for returning the claw coupling to the disengaged position when the operating mechanism of the gripping member is released.
