    摘要: A standing support assembly for a boat deck to assist boaters with physical limitations in maneuvering around a bass boat. The standing support assembly includes a rigid, elongated stanchion member that is hingedly attached to one end of a rigid, planar attachment plate. An anchor post extends downwardly from the other end of the attachment plate and allows the standing support assembly to be locked into a base plate on a bass boat. Through its hinged attachment, the stanchion member is able to move between a deployed position in which it is orthogonal to the attachment plate and a storage position in which it is parallel and adjacent to the attachment plate. When in the deployed position, a user can hold the stanchion member for added support while moving around on the boat.

The second part extends along a lateral portion of the outboard motor.

    摘要: A telescoping boat railing including a rod having a first end with a fastener and a second end that telescopes relative to an opening in a hollow top rail of a boat. The top rail is supported horizontally by one of a plurality of vertical support members of a railing for the boat, which railing defines an opening for accessing the boat. Across the railing opening from the fastener is a receptacle formed co-linearly with the fastener and extending from a horizontal portion of the top of the railing. The rod is pulled out of the opening in the top rail in the direction of the receptacle and is removably attached by connecting the fastener and the receptacle. To return the rod to its nested position, the fastener is disconnected from the receptacle, and the rod is telescoped back into its nesting position in the hollow of the top rail.

    摘要: A stanchion attached to a sail boat is provided where the stanchion supports a lifeline near the top of the stanchion and the lifeline runs generally along the outer edge of the deck of the sail boat and the connection of the lifeline to the stanchion can be characterized in part by the maximum deflection point of the lifeline and the stanchion has attached thereto a generally vertically disposed slide disposed away from the central plane of the sail boat. The outer slide surface of the slide is characterized by a profile and the limit of the edge of the profile falls between a circular arc which begins near the top of the stanchion, has the maximum deflection point of the lifeline as its center, and travels away from the central plane of the sail boat and downwardly toward the deck of the sail boat and a curve which begins near the top of the stanchion, has at least one point that is on a level below the top of the stanchion, and moves progressively farther away from the maximum deflection point of the lifeline as it travels away from the top of the stanchion.
