摘要: A river or tidal turbine for generating a minimum predetermined value of electricity from river current received at a harnessing module comprises a harnessing module, a control module and a generating module. Han's principle is that harnessed power from a river or tidal turbine must exceed a predetermined value of control power used by the turbine. Minimum power is lost in a three variable closed mechanical control system. The three variable closed mechanical system comprises a Hummingbird control assembly of first and second spur/helical gear assemblies which may be preferably mechanically simplified. The Hummingbird control, a control motor and a generator among other components may be mounted on a floating platform for delivery of constant power at constant frequency given sufficient input from a waterwheel harnessing module driven by river current flow in at least one direction. A tidal embodiment may comprise a moveable hatch for permitting the waterwheel to turn in foe same rotational direction regardless of direction of water current flow.

摘要: A water current catcher system for hydroelectricity generation includes a first L-shaped weir, a second L-shaped weir, a channel opening, an underwater gate assembly, and at least one elevation adjustable hydroelectric generator unit. The first and second L-shaped weir are connected to a subsurface environment and linearly positioned to each other. The channel opening is delineated between the first L-shaped weir and the second L-shaped weir. The underwater gate assembly is integrated into the first L-shaped weir, the second L-shaped weir, and the subsurface environment thus positioning about the channel opening. The elevation adjustable hydroelectric generator unit that includes a first jack-up barge, a second jack-up barge, a waterwheel, and a generator is connected to the subsurface environment and adjacently positioned about the channel opening. The elevation adjustable hydroelectric generator unit is operatively coupled with the underwater gate assembly to convert the kinetic energy of flowing water into hydroelectricity.

摘要: A method of automatically extracting energy from flowing liquid and a device using the same are disclosed. The device includes a paddle rod and a swing device. The paddle rod includes two paddles to bear a pushing force of flowing liquid. When the paddle rod is swung, one of the two paddle enters water and the other paddle leaves from water surface. When the paddle in the water bears a pushing force of flowing liquid to drive a rotary body to swing, the paddle rod moves upwardly and leaves the water surface, and the other paddle enters water to bear the pushing force, and after the rotary body is driven to swing reversely, the paddle rod moves upwardly and leaves water surface, and at the same time the paddle enters the water to bear the pushing force, to drive the rotary body to swing reversely.

摘要: A waterwheel assembly for a river or similar body of flowing water includes a waterwheel mounted on a support structure, and one or more buoyant members, wherein waterwheel can move up and down, and the buyout members support part of the weight of the waterwheel so that the waterwheel is able to rise and fall with any change to the river level, and the support structure is secured on land by the river or body of water by means of one or more cantilevered beams. The waterwheel has an axle secured between two vertical posts by means of salable bearings that permit the waterwheel to move up and down.

摘要: The hydro turbine of the invention consists of a housing, which represents a stator part of hydro turbine, or a stator (S), and a rotor (R) that is assembled on the stator (S) through its axis so as to enable its rotation. The rotor (R) is designed as an axially symmetric body with flat lateral surfaces with a circular cross-section. The circular cross-section from both outer ends, that is from both flat lateral surfaces with a circular cross-section, decreases equally and continuously towards the middle, so that the rotor (R) has a narrowest cross-section in the middle. The decrease of the circular cross-section from both outer ends of the rotor (R) towards the central part of the rotor (R) is carried out such that the shape of the rotor (R) body in the longitudinal cross-section, that is, along the axis of the rotor (R), follows the shape of a parabolic curve or a sinusoidal curve. The rotor (R) has over its entire surface, in the longitudinal direction, that is along its axis, curved grooves (U). This kind of design of the hydro turbine enables that the water flows through the grooves (U) towards the middle part of the rotor (R), where it flows out and transfers all the momentum to the rotor (R), so that the hydro turbine can generate the torque (MR) even with small and variable flows.

摘要: A hydropower system has a channel and at least one water turbine. The channel has a flowing path, two side walls, and at least one turbine recess recessed in at least one of the side walls and having an opening communicating with the flowing path. The at least one water turbine is mounted in the at least one turbine recess and has a shaft, a blade wheel, and a generator. The blade wheel is mounted on and rotatable with the shaft and partially protrudes into the flowing path. The generator is connected to the shaft. The blade wheel may be propelled to rotate by flowing water flowing through the flowing path to drive the generator to generate power.
