Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tide current power generation device using a tidal current induction hydraulic pipeline and a tidal current power generation tube turbine for using both directional flood and ebb tides to implement power generation, and achieving a multi-layer and parallel structure in the water to build a large-scale tidal power generation complex. To this end, the device according to the present invention includes: a plurality of concrete pile; a support frame part; a tidal current power generation tube turbine; a tidal current induction hydraulic pipeline; a plurality of power transmission parts; and an upper plate part.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an inlet screen adapted to be arranged at the water inlet (8) of a hydropower plant and comprises a plurality of elongated bars (20), said bars (20) being separated by a distance holding means, each elongated bar (20) having in its elongation a proximal portion and a distal portion, and an upstream region and a downstream region, said upstream and downstream regions being at an angle in relation to said proximal and distal portions, at least one of said bars (20) defining a space (36; 36a) extending along at least a portion of the elongation of said bar (20), said bar (20) being provided with an electric heating means (31). In accordance with the invention, said elongated bar has an elongated intermediate portion (38a), said space (36; 36a) being defined in either of the upstream region (35a) and the downstream region (35b), said intermediate portion (38a) extending along the elongation of the bar (20) between the upstream region (35a) and the downstream region (35b), said electric heating means (31) comprising at least one electric heating member (37) being introduced into said space (36; 36a).
Abstract:
A fluid driven turbine apparatus includes a hollow body and rib plates annularly disposed in the hollow body. A vane module is disposed in the hollow body and co-axially connected to a shaft extending axially through the hollow body. The rib plates surround the vane module and are spaced apart from the vane module by an annular gap. The annular gap has a width gradually enlarged in a top-to-bottom direction. When fluid flows into the vane module and is diverted sideward to the annular gap, large sand grains carried by fluid may pass through an enlarged lower portion of the annular gap without getting stuck therein and abrading the rib plates and the vane module.
Abstract:
This invention is made of a rotational hollow blade (11) turbine, which can be installed in watercourses for power generation. This system may include up to six propellers placed in hexagon shape, since this is the recommended shape for a better collection of the river flow, so that their movement does not obstruct the turbine rotation, and increases speed when immersing and emerging. The mentioned propellers are assembled on top of an axis of rotation, and the latter has an emission pinion (12) on both ends, which connects to a receiver pinion (13) placed inside a reduction gear box. Several turbines can be installed depending on the motive power of each hydric flow, and on the connection to two flow generators, one on each side, so that the power falling upon the turbine is regular and balanced.
Abstract:
In a hydroelectric turbine having a rotor disposed within a housing, the rotor having an annular outer rim received by a channel in the housing, the improvement comprising providing at least one debris release chute in said housing such that debris captured between the rotor and the housing is released through the debris release chute.
Abstract:
An in-line motor and pump assembly is supported at the bottom of a fuel storage tank by a pipe and an internal concentric conduit for housing electrical conductors extending therewithin to the motor. An impeller, coaxial with the rotor of the motor, draws the fuel into an annular passageway surrounding the stator of the motor. Further passageways convey the fuel to an annular passageway defined between the pipe and the conduit for discharge external of the storage tank. A low pressure environment attendant the inflow of the fuel is used to channel fuel for lubrication and cooling purposes to a lower journal bearing and thrust bearing supporting a common shaft for the impeller and the motor. A high pressure environment attendant outflow of fuel is used to channel fuel for lubrication and cooling purposes to a journal bearing supporting the upper end of the shaft.
Abstract:
An annular air baffle for use in a cavity of an annular rotatable gas turbine engine component includes an annular split baffle ring having a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart and radially inwardly extending intermediate dams circumferentially disposed between first and second end dams. The intermediate dams and the first and second end dams extend radially inwardly from a continuous annular section. Voids are disposed between the intermediate dams and between the first and second end dams and adjacent ones of the intermediate dams. The voids are located radially inwardly of the continuous annular section and are formed by removing material from a split rolled ring rolled from barstock or a rod.
Abstract:
A system for supplying a fluid to a turbine includes an inlet for allowing the fluid to enter the turbines, a filter to filter the fluid, and a pump apparatus to pressurize the fluid and to mix the pressurized fluid with the un-pressurized fluid at a location in the neighborhood of the inlet.
Abstract:
A unitary fan-motor grill assembly that integrates a fan-motor subassembly within a grill assembly and a fan-motor housing is disclosed. The fan-motor housing is configured to receive a fan-motor subassembly and includes motor latches and posts for fixing the fan-motor subassembly in place. The grill assembly is provided with housing latches to secure it in place in front of the fan blade of the fan-motor subassembly by attaching to the fan-motor housing. The fan-motor housing includes mounting latches for fixing the integrated fan-motor grill assembly in place on an evaporator housing or similar receptacle. The unitary fan-motor grill assembly may be installed or removed in a single step without requiring the use of non-integral fasteners.
