Abstract: A user equipment (UE), including a vehicle to everything (V2X) device, a baseband processor or other network device can operate in an unlicensed network to acquire a channel occupancy time (COT) for sidelink (SL) transmission and provide sidelink control information (SCI) with a first stage SCI in a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) and a second stage SCI in a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH). The first stage SCI or the second stage SCI can provide COT indications to a receiving UE device that enable COT sharing in a sidelink unlicensed COT (SL-U COT) for SL communication.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatus to enhance RACH transmission for beyond 52.6 GHz communications. A Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) configuration information including an indication of a PRACH preamble format for a predefined subcarrier spacing (SCS) to enhance cell coverage may be received. The PRACH configuration information may include a new PRACH preamble format in a time-domain based on a short sequence PRACH preamble format. Additionally, the PRACH preamble may be transmitted using the PRACH preamble format over a PRACH to a base station (BS). The short sequence PRACH preamble format may be repeated over two consecutive time-domain RACH occasions (ROs).

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for configuring listen before talk and short control signaling in unlicensed spectrum in a wireless communication system. A wireless device may establish a wireless link with a cellular base station on a cell in unlicensed spectrum. The wireless device may receive listen-before-talk configuration information, where the listen-before-talk configuration information indicates whether listen-before-talk is configured for the wireless link. The wireless device may receive short control signaling configuration information, where the short control signaling configuration information indicates whether short control signaling is enabled for one or more types of control signaling. The wireless device may perform short control signaling with the cellular base station on the wireless link when short control signaling is enabled. The short control signaling performed between the cellular base station and the wireless device may include either or both of uplink transmissions or downlink transmissions.

Abstract: Methods and devices for a UE to multiplex uplink control information (UCI). The UE establishes a connection with a base station. The UE determines whether to multiplex first UCI by first identifying whether intra-priority timing overlap exists between the timing resources of the first UCI and a PUSCH with the same priority. Subsequently, the UE identifies whether inter-priority timing overlap exists between the timing resources of the first UCI and a second PUCCH with a different priority from the first PUCCH. Finally, the UE identifies whether the timing resources of the first UCI overlap with a second PUSCH with a different priority than the first PUCCH. The UE multiplexes the first UCI based on the determination whether to multiplex the first UCI, and transmits the multiplexed first UCI to the base station.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes: requesting transmission, by a wireless device, of uplink (UL) transmissions to a wireless station; receiving, by the wireless device, a UL cancellation indication (CI) to be applied to a determined reference region; determining, by the wireless device, a set of UL resources for cancellation based on the UL CI received from the wireless station (e.g., by determining an indication of particular interlaces and/or particular Physical Resource Blocks within such interlaces that are to be canceled), wherein at least a subset of the UL resources for cancellation are interlaced; and canceling, by the wireless device, UL transmissions over at least the determined set of UL resources for cancellation (i.e., additional UL transmissions may be cancelled, too). The wireless device may then perform UL transmissions that do not overlap with the determined set of UL resources for cancellation in any UL CI to the wireless station.

Abstract: Systems and method for using control information to control the relay of signaling between a base station and a user equipment (UE) using a smart repeater (SMR) and/or reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) are disclosed herein. In embodiments, a first phase is used by the SMR with a first SS burst from a base station to identify a trained Rx beam to use with the base station, and a second phase receives a second SS burst from the base station and forwards it to a UE using a beam sweep such that the UE is enabled to provide feedback of one SSB of the second SS burst. In other embodiments, an SMR or an RIS is controlled to enable the use of an SS burst to perform a full check of all beam-wise routes between the base station and the UE, enabling feedback of a corresponding SSB selection by the UE.
