Abstract: A transmission apparatus includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter transmits a Trigger Frame for allocating resources for Uplink Multi User (UL MU) transmission, the Trigger Frame comprising a common information field that includes a type subfield indicating one of a plurality of trigger types, wherein the plurality of trigger types includes a first trigger type, a second trigger type and a third trigger type, the first trigger type indicating a basic trigger, the second trigger type indicating multi-user block ack request, and the third trigger type indicating a specific trigger used for soliciting a specific type of UL MU response frame from a plurality of terminal stations. The receiver, responsive to the type subfield indicating the third trigger type, receives the specific type of UL MU response frame from the plurality of terminal station.

Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a circuitry and a transmitter. In operation, the circuitry generates a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) and generates downlink control information indicating a mapping pattern of the DMRS from a plurality of mapping patterns, and the transmitter transmits the DMRS and the downlink control information. The plurality of mapping patterns include a first mapping pattern and a second mapping pattern. Resource elements used for the DMRS of the second mapping pattern are same as a part of resource elements used for the DMRS of the first mapping pattern. A number of the resource elements used for the DMRS of the first mapping pattern is larger than a number of the resource elements used for the DMRS of the second mapping pattern.

Abstract: A three-dimensional data encoding method includes: obtaining a data unit including three-dimensional points; encoding the three-dimensional points included in the data unit; and generating a bitstream including encoded data obtained by encoding the data unit. In the encoding: a first determination for determining whether to continuously use a context to encode the data unit is made, the context being used in encoding a previous data unit preceding the data unit; and the data unit is encoded using a context according to a result of the first determination. In the first determination, when the data unit is a lead data unit in a random access unit, it is determined not to continuously use the context used in encoding the previous data unit.

Abstract: A method used in an on-board network system, having electronic controllers that exchange messages and a fraud detecting electronic controller. The method includes determining whether a message transmitted conforms to fraud detection rules, and querying an external device whether there is delivery data for updating the fraud detection rules. When there is the delivery data for updating the fraud detection rules, receiving from an external device the delivery data, including updated fraud detection rules and network type information indicating a network type that the updated fraud detection rules are to be applied. The method also includes determining whether a vehicle in which the on-board network system is installed is running, and whether the network type information indicates a drive network that is connected to an electronic controller related to travel of the vehicle. When the network type information does not indicate the drive network, updating the fraud detection rules.

Abstract: A misuse detection method used in an electronic control unit in a vehicle network system including multiple electronic control units that communicate with one another through networks. The misuse detection method includes receiving a target data frame at one time point, and receiving a reference data frame at another time point different than the one time point. The misuse detection method further includes performing, as misuse detection for the target data frame based on a certain rule specifying a reception interval between the one time point at which the target data frame is received and the other time point at which the reference data frame is received, and determining the target data frame received is for misuse based on a length of the reception interval.

In the generating, when the target node is encoded by reference to information of a first neighbor node, the bitstream further including encoding processing information is generated, the encoding processing information indicating a processing method in the encoding; and when the target node is encoded without reference to the information of the first neighbor node, the bitstream is generated without including the encoding processing information in the bitstream.

Abstract: An encoder includes circuitry and memory. The circuitry, in operation, generates a first coefficient value by applying a CCALF (cross component adaptive loop filtering) process to a first reconstructed image sample of a luma component. The circuitry generates a second coefficient value by applying an ALF (adaptive loop filtering) process to a second reconstructed image sample of a chroma component. The circuitry generates a third coefficient value by adding the first coefficient value to the second coefficient value, and encodes a third reconstructed image sample of the chroma component using the third coefficient value. In the CCALF process, in response to a coordinate of the second reconstructed image sample being (x, y), coordinates of the first reconstructed image samples are (2x, 2y−1), (2x−1, 2y), (2x, 2y), (2x+1, 2y), (2x−1, 2y+1), (2x, 2y+1), (2x+1, 2y+1), and (2x, 2y+2).
