Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first base station may communicate during asynchronous slots in accordance with a set of communication parameters determined from a handshake procedure performed with a second base station. For example, based on a change to a slot type of a slot to an asynchronous slot, the first base station and the second base station may perform the handshake procedure to determine the set of communication parameters and may communicate one or more messages during the slot in accordance with the set of communication parameters. Additionally, or alternatively, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) associated with a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state based on a slot type of a first slot in which the UE transmits the SRS and a reference signal received in a second slot having the slot type.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first system information message including an indication of a resource configuration for a control resource set (CORESET) from a base station. The CORESET may include a common search space for a downlink control information (DCI) message that schedules a second system information message. The UE may identify a set of parameters from multiple sets of parameters for the CORESET based on the indication received in the first system information message and the UE being a first type of UE. The set of parameters may be different from a second set of parameters for the CORESET associated with a second type of UE different from the first type of UE. The UE may receive, in the CORESET according to the identified set of parameters, the DCI message scheduling the second system information message.

Abstract: In the examples described herein, a user equipment (UE) may identify multiple carriers configured for communications with a base station, and the UE may group the carriers into one or more preferred groups for synchronized scheduling at the base station. The preferred groups of carriers for synchronized scheduling may represent a recommendation that carriers within a preferred group are to be scheduled for communications with the base station on at least partially overlapping resources to maximize power savings at the UE. The UE may transmit an indication of the preferred groups of carriers to the base station, and the base station may identify an actual group of carriers for synchronized scheduling based on the indication received from the UE. The base station may then schedule communications with the UE based on the actual group of carriers.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, one or more control messages that indicate a configuration for a first downlink bandwidth part (BWP) associated with a first operating mode of the UE, a second downlink BWP associated with a second operating mode of the UE, a first set of resources within the first downlink BWP, and a second set of resources within the second downlink BWP. At least a portion of the configuration may correspond to a capability of the UE. The UE may monitor the first set of resources while in the first operating mode, and may monitor the second set of resources while in the second operating mode. The UE may receive a system information update or a public warning system (PWS) notification from the network entity via the second set of resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for restricting beams that may lead to inter-base station interference. For example, an implicit restriction of beams may be used by a first and second base station (e.g., a victim and aggressor base station, respectively). In such cases, the first base station may indicate a period, a subband, or both, associated with one or more scheduled uplink beams that the first base station may use for receiving uplink transmissions. The second base station may select beams that avoid interference with the uplink beam(s) of the first base station. Additionally or alternatively, an explicit restriction of beams may be signaled, where the first base station may explicitly indicate a set of downlink beams associated with the second base station that are allowed (e.g., beams that avoid interference with uplink transmissions at the first base station).

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving cross-link interference (CLI) resource configuration information and angle-of-arrival (AoA) estimation configuration information, The method also includes receiving CLI associated with an uplink transmission transmitted by another UE, and determining a CLI value for the CLI based on the CLI resource configuration information. The method includes determining an AoA value associated with the CLI based on the AoA estimation configuration information, the AoA value corresponding to an estimated AoA at the UE associated with the uplink transmission. The method further includes transmitting CLI report data indicating the determined CLI value and AoA report data indicating the estimated AoA value. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described that may enable a user equipment (UE) to monitor a shared spectrum to receive control signaling and data transmissions associated with different transmission time intervals (TTIs). For example, a base station may communicate with a UE according to a first transmission mode during a first, shortened TTI. The base station may transmit a downlink control channel for a shortened TTI based on a subset of a number of blind decodes or control channel elements. Additionally, a downlink control channel for a shortened TTI may contain grants for multiple TTIs. In some cases, the base station may transmit a signaling to the UE via a reference signal, downlink control channel, or radio resource control which may indicate a change from the shortened-TTI transmission mode to a transmission mode with a TTI duration that is longer than the first, shortened TTI duration.

For instance, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a set of search space sets for a downlink control channel. The UE may determine a quantity of downlink control channel units (e.g., downlink control channel elements, downlink control channel candidates) for monitoring over the set of search space sets, where downlink control channel units that overlap may be counted separately. For instance, the downlink control channel units may overlap in time and frequency and/or may have a same associated payload size and associated set of control channel elements. The UE may monitor the downlink control channel according to a subset of the set of search space sets, where the subset excludes one or more of the set of search space sets based on the quantity of downlink control channel units satisfying a threshold.
