    Abstract: The present disclosure provide a device, system, and method for generating, in an electrical device, a 1 bit or a 0 bit that is received in a switching circuit powered by a battery. The device, system, and method generates, in the switching circuit, a negative bias voltage and a positive bias voltage. The device, system, and method transmits the negative bias voltage and the positive bias voltage to a power amplifier. The device, system, and method turns the power amplifier from an off-state to an on-state in response to receiving the negative bias voltage. The device, system, and method amplifies, with the power amplifier, a power signal moving through power amplifier when the amplifier is in the on-state.

    Abstract: A communications receiver. One example embodiment is a system-in-package (SIP) device, which includes a three-dimensional interposer, a first bandpass filter integrated into the three-dimensional interposer, a first integrated circuit chip on the three-dimensional interposer, a second integrated circuit chip on the three-dimensional interposer, a second bandpass filter integrated into the three-dimensional interposer, and a third bandpass filter integrated into the three-dimensional interposer. The first integrated circuit chip includes a balanced amplifier that receives a first filtered signal and suppress distortion products. The second integrated circuit chip includes a first mixer and a second mixer. The first mixer receives an output of the balanced amplifier and mixes the output with a first oscillator signal. The second bandpass filter receives an output from the first mixer and generates a second filtered signal. The second mixer receives the second filtered signal and mixes the second filtered signal with a second oscillator signal.

    Abstract: A system and associated method determines the characteristics of an electric network including distance to a fault through the use of a power divider and a measuring device that measures a quantity from which voltage magnitude can be determined. The measuring device may be a power detector. The power detector may include a power meter to measure voltage and/or a power sensor to measure amplitude. Then, the results from the power detector are used in conjunction with a Hilbert transform to estimate the phase associated with at least two voltage magnitudes when a combined signal is a minimum phase signal.

    Abstract: A system and method for nulling or suppressing interfering signals directed toward moving platforms based, at least in part, on dynamic motion data of the moveable platform is provided. The system may be an interference nulling system carried by a moveable platform and may include an antenna array including two or more antenna elements that generates at least one initial steerable null radiation pattern, dynamic motion data logic that determines dynamic motion data of the moveable platform; and update logic that updates the at least one initial steerable null radiation pattern based, at least in part, on the dynamic motion data. The at least one updated steerable null radiation pattern is directed toward a direction from which interfering signals are being transmitted from an interfering signal source.
