The registration between real-time 3D ultrasound images and the pre-acquired 3D image is performed continuously in the background by continuing to acquire the real-time 3D ultrasound images and to register them with the pre-acquired 3D images using the reference pattern or patterns or the object or objects.

The invention provides the following steps: determining the modulus and direction of the magnetization of elements necessary for generating a predetermined magnetic field in said cavity in a theoretical two-dimensional magnet model, extruding the two-dimensional model to a three-dimensional model and at least partially compensating aberrations, distortions or inhomogeneites of the magnetic field generated in the three-dimensional model by modifying the magnetization orientation in the individual elements and in the plane of the two-dimensional model such to minimize differences between the magnetic field in the two-dimensional model and the magnetic field in the three-dimensional model above all as regards its homogeneity level. The invention relates also to a magnet made by said method and particularly a small magnet.

    摘要: An ultrasonic imaging method particularly for 3D gynaecologic inspections provides an ultrasound probe having a number of transducers forming a linear array. An imaging scanning unit connected to the transducers alternatively generates electric driving signals for each transducer. The probe is oscillated in a direction transversal to the longitudinal extension of the linear array of transducers and around an axis coinciding or parallel to the longitudinal extensions of the linear array of transducers to modify the orientation of the direction of propagation of the ultrasound signals. The ultrasound beams are steered so that the linear array of transducers generates a trapezoidal scanning slice or plane diverging in the direction of propagation of the beams.
