摘要： In a headbox system for a papermaking machine with an adjustable distribution of the fiber stock suspension or pulp over the web width, the flow in the delivery slice is controlled in such a way that, across the web width, also the distribution of the fibers in respect of fiber orientation and quantity has a desired profile. For this purpose, the flow of the fiber stock suspension is controlled such that in the event of a change in the distribution of the fiber stock suspension across the web width, the horizontal component of the flow direction in the delivery slice remains, at all locations, always in the predetermined machine direction and thus transverse flows are avoided and the flow rate in the delivery slice has a predeterminate profile.

摘要： The sorting apparatus contains a rotor equipped with blades or vanes which move along a screen or sieve located beneath the rotor. The screen forms a partial surface of a body of revolution, such as a partial surface or section of a cylinder. The fiber stock mass which has not moved through the screen is upwardly propelled into a turbulence chamber or space by the action of the rotor and again falls back onto such rotor or another rotor. A domed guide surface serves to guide the fiber stock mass.

摘要： A vane shaft is suspended within a container in a pendulum or swinging fashion at its drive shaft by means of a pivotable coupling. The drive shaft can constitute the output shaft of a drive arrangement composed of a drive motor equipped with a transmission or gearing unit and supported upon a radial arm member. The drive motor together with its transmission also can be arranged in or at a central axis of the orbiting or revolving path of movement of the vane shaft, and the drive shaft can connect the drive motor equipped with the transmission with the vane shaft in the manner of a Cardan shaft. The vane shaft also can be directly suspended at the vertical output shaft of the transmission or gearing arrangement by means of a pivotable coupling. At the lower end of the vane shaft there is secured a buoyant or float body member serving for the lateral deflection of the vane shaft. Above the level of the liquid confined within the container the latter is provided with a substantially ring-shaped guide arrangement which limits the deflection of the vane shaft towards the outside.

The stator ring possesses an opening above the discharge chute or portion of the apparatus which extends through an angle of about 90.degree.. The apparatus composed of the rotor ring and the transport teeth and the stator ring containing the opening renders possible removal of the dispersed substance or material, without altering its consistency and without there occurring cooling of the processed substance or material.

摘要： A twin-wire papermaking machine contains a headbox for forming a first fiber ply which is essentially downwardly dewatered at a section of a first wire. At the end of this wire section, forwardly or upstream of the inbound or on-running location of a second wire there is arranged a second headbox for forming a second fiber ply which is essentially upwardly dewatered along a subsequently arranged common path of both wires. The common path advantageously extends over an essentially water impervious, convex domed contact surface of a slide shoe and/or a jacket surface of a guide cylinder or roll. During operation, the second fiber ply is deposited upon the already extensively dewatered first fiber ply and upon passage through the common path of both wires this second fiber ply is dewatered upwardly away from the first fiber ply. This enables separate dewatering of both fiber plies, and there is particularly avoided deflocculation of individual fibers, and thus, impairment of the fiber formation in the initially formed ply.

Spray tubes or the like serve for spraying the circular sieve, the material which is to be treated and for forming the liquid sump.

摘要： The fiberizer is constructed with a closed chamber provided with an inlet for a waste paper suspension as well as with discharge openings for stock, impurities of low specific gravity and impurities of high specific gravity. The rotor which serves to rotate the stock suspension within the vessel has a central duct which communicates the central part of the chamber with the discharge opening for the impurities of low specific gravity.In one embodiment, the vessel is mounted vertically and has a downwardly tapering wall which terminates at an opening for the discharge of impurities of high specific gravity. In a second embodiment, the vessel has a conical end wall opposite the rotor which has an apex directed towards the rotor. In this embodiment, the opening for the discharge of impurities of high specific gravity can be disposed in the base of this end wall if the vessel is vertically positioned or in a sidewall if the vessel is horizontally oriented.
