摘要： An apparatus and a method for processing slurry are provided. The apparatus includes a support frame including a vertical member and a horizontal member. The apparatus also includes a mounting unit mounted on the vertical member, a mixing chamber disposed on the horizontal member, a controller mounted on the mounting unit, and a stirrer attached to the controller. The mounting unit is operable to position the stirrer with respect to the mixing chamber such that the stirrer is in contact with a slurry in the mixing chamber during the mixing operation.

摘要： A method of mixing a rubber composition includes a carbon introduction step and a uniform dispersion step. In the carbon introduction step, on the basis of a deviation between a rate of temperature increase of the rubber mixture (R) and a target value, at least one of a ram pressure (Pr) and a rotational speed (N) of the mixing rotor (2) is PID controlled so that the ultimate temperature of the rubber mixture (R) at the conclusion of the step is within a tolerance range. In the uniform dispersion step, the ram pressure (Pr) or the rotational speed (N) of the mixing rotor (2) is adjusted to reduce a deviation between a value based on successively detected data associated with a predetermined control target and a target value.

摘要： A caulking tube assembly is provided having a cap and an auger component, and the auger component has an auger engagement head portion and a helical or spiral portion that is compressible and sized to be fitted in a tube for holding caulk. The auger engagement head has a shaft housing sized to receive a mixing shaft therein. A coloring agent is added to the caulk in the tube and the auger component mixes the caulk and coloring agent to produce a tube of colored caulk. The caulk is thus colored to satisfy the requirements of virtually any application and dispensed from a caulking gun. In another preferred embodiment there is a caulking tube assembly with having a closed cap and a mixing component having a shaft engagement portion and a shaftless auger portion. The caulking tube assembly can also be used to mix epoxy.

摘要： A caulking tube assembly is provided having a cap and an auger component. The auger component has an auger engagement head portion and a helical or spiral portion. The helical portion is compressible and sized to be fitted in a tube for holding caulk. The auger engagement head has a hexagonal shaft housing sized to receive a mixing shaft therein. A dye or tint color formula is added to caulk disposed in the tube and the mixing shaft engages the auger component mixing the caulk and dye or tint color formula to produce tinted caulk. The caulk is colored to satisfy the requirements of virtually any application and dispensed from a caulking gun. In another preferred embodiment there is a caulking tube assembly with having a closed cap and a mixing component. The mixing component has a shaft engagement portion and a shaftless auger portion.

摘要： Apparatus for dispersing solid constituents into a liquid vehicle employs an immersion mill operating in combination with a low shear mixer blade assembly which sweeps the walls of a tank containing a batch of solid constituents in a liquid vehicle to circulate the batch through the immersion mill to carry out a milling operation to establish a relatively high viscosity mixture having a high degree of uniformity. The immersion mill includes an improvement wherein a helical screw impeller is placed within a tubular inlet passage for moving the batch longitudinally through the tubular inlet passage into the immersion mill, the helical screw impeller including a helical flight extending along the length of the tubular inlet passage and having a diameter complementary to the diameter of the tubular inlet passage and a pitch less than the length of the tubular inlet passage such that the helical flight spans the diameter of the tubular inlet passage along plural turns of the helical flight.
