摘要:
The present invention relates to a process for producing a nanocellulosic material based on the use of fractioning of cellulosic pulp stream from pre-treatment or mechanical defibrillation (partially refined/defibrillated pulp) in combination with stages of mechanical defibrillation, in which both the accept fraction and the reject fraction can be conveyed to stages of consistency adjustments so as to precede another distinct defibrillation stage. For example, if the accept is conveyed to a consistency adjustment preceding a second defibrillation stage while the reject is conveyed to the other independent stage of consistency adjustment to return to the first stage of mechanical defibrillation.

Methods of preparing partially dried or essentially completely dried compositions comprising microfibrillated cellulose and an inorganic particulate material may include microfibrillating a fibrous substrate comprising cellulose in an aqueous environment by grinding in the presence of an inorganic particulate material to form an aqueous composition comprising microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material, wherein the fibrous substrate comprising cellulose has a Canadian Standard freeness equal to or less than 450 cm, wherein the fibrous substrate to the inorganic particulate material are in a ratio of about 99.5:0.5 to about 0.5:99.5, and wherein the microfibrillated cellulose has a fibre steepness of from about 20 to about 50; by treating the aqueous composition comprising microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material to remove at least a portion or substantially all of the water of the aqueous composition to form a partially dried or essentially completely dried composition comprising microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material.

The current invention is directed to a method and apparatus for defibrillating cellulose fibers achieved through single or multiple passes of raw or pre-processed cellulose fiber slurry with a preferred solid material consistency range of 35% to 55% through twin-screw fiber processing machines. During this processing operation fiber slurries are optionally further enhanced with additional fiber and mineral additives to optimize performance of the material for specific end purposes. The hyper defibrillated fiber slurry produced can be defined as one reaching a Schopper-Riegler (SR) level between 75 SR and 85 SR and/or producing a pressed, dried board with a density of preferably at least 850 kg/m3.

The method for disintegration of materials containing lignocellulose to fibers is characterized in that roller pressure is applied to the material containing lignocellulose in a flat die pellet mill by pinch rollers which can have an offset from the die of several millimeters, said pressure being applicable over a wide area, and the material being in a mixture with fiber-improving agents and moist on the surface, whereby the fiber improving agents, supported by the high moisture in the pore interiors, enter far into the interior of the fiber material and react spontaneously or with a delay, wherein finally the disintegrated and refined material is pressed through the bores of the flat die.

An apparatus to separate components of a solid feedstock is described. The apparatus may include a threaded shaft that has a plurality of reaction zone segments along the length of the shaft that are separated from each other by dynamic plug segments. The threads of the shaft have a first thread pitch in the reaction zone segments, and a second thread pitch in the dynamic plug segments. The apparatus may also include a motor to rotate the shaft, and an outlet coupled to a second end of the shaft, where one or more solid components of the solid feedstock exit the apparatus through the outlet. The apparatus may additionally include a feeder to supply the solid feedstock to the threaded shaft, and a pump to provide a rinse fluid to the threaded shaft, where the rinse fluid flows in the opposite direction of the solid feedstock along the shaft.

A dissociating apparatus of papermaking raw material includes a rotary drum for receiving the papermaking raw material therein. The rotary drum has an engaging portion on an inner wall thereof for engaging the papermaking raw material. The dissociating apparatus also includes a rotary vane disposed inside the rotary drum for hitting the papermaking raw material falling from the engaging portion. In a method of dissociating the papermaking raw material, the raw material on the rotary drum is hit by the rotary vane to collide with the inner surface of the rotary drum, and falls on a bottom surface of the rotary drum to collide therewith. Thus, the raw material is properly dissociated.
