摘要: A method comprises determining a plurality of responses at a plurality of tilted angles for multiple coils of a collocated antenna assembly based on at least one coil parameter of the collocated antenna assembly, wherein the at least one coil parameter comprises at least one of a number of coil turns, a coil size, and a number of coils. The method includes determining crosstalk between the multiple coils at each of the plurality of tilted angles from the plurality of responses. The method includes determining a signal-to-noise ratio for each of the plurality of tilted angles based on the crosstalk. The method also includes selecting a tilted angle for the collocated antenna assembly corresponding to an optimal signal-to-noise ratio of the determined signal-to-noise ratios.

摘要: A method includes generating a ranging model of a drilling wellbore to be drilled and generating a predicted signal along measured depths of the drilling wellbore based on the ranging model. The method includes performing the following operations until the drilling wellbore has been drilled to a defined depth. The following operations include drilling, with a drill string, the drilling wellbore to an increment of the defined depth and detecting, by a sensor positioned on the drill string, an electromagnetic field emanating from a target wellbore. The following operations include determining ranging measurements to the target wellbore at the increment based on the electromagnetic field and calibrating the predicted signal based on the ranging measurements. The following operations include determining ranging accuracy for all deeper depths in the wellbore and making drilling decisions or adjusting drilling operations based on the predicted ranging accuracy for deeper depths.

摘要: A string guide comprising an upper mandrel, a lower muleshoe guide concentric to a lower portion of the upper mandrel, and an annular fastener internal to the lower muleshoe guide that fastens the lower muleshoe guide to the upper mandrel. When the guide encounters an obstruction (e.g., a packer bore or liner top), the weight of equipment above the lower muleshoe guide elastically deforms the annular fastener which drives the lower muleshoe guide up the upper mandrel. As the lower muleshoe guide travels up the upper mandrel, internal lugs of the muleshoe guide ride a spiral groove on the upper mandrel to rotate the lower muleshoe guide around the upper mandrel.

摘要: A seal assembly and methods of use, wherein the seal assembly is formed of an elastomeric enclosure within which a primary cavity is defined. A second cavity in the form of a crushable container is deployed within the primary chamber. An elastomeric compound is contained in one cavity and an elastomeric hardener contained in the other cavity. Upon application of an external force to the elastomeric enclosure, the enclosure is elastically deformed from a first shape to a second shape, wherein the second shape positions the elastomeric enclosure into a sealing configuration between adjacent annular surfaces. The external force also crushes the container, to cause mixing of the elastomeric compound and elastomeric hardener. Once the reaction is complete, the hardened compound retains the deformed shape of the elastomeric enclosure to maintain a seal between the annular surfaces.

摘要: A system can receive, at a user interface, at least one constraint and a range for at least one parameter for a wellbore operation. The system can generate, by at least one algorithm, a recommendation of a value for the at least one parameter within the range for the at least one parameter. The recommendation can be based on a sustainability metric and the at least one constraint for the wellbore operation. The system can output, at the user interface, the recommendation of the value for the at least one parameter and an indication of additional outcomes for the sustainability metric using other values within the range for the at least one parameter.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods of determining a wellbore position in a subterranean formation by using gravity sensors to detect a gravity anomaly related to a presence of the wellbore, contents within the wellbore, and or fluid flowing through an interface of the wellbore. A model of the subterranean formation predicts a gravity profile, including the gravity anomaly, and the model may be constrained with a depth of the gravity anomaly as calculated with at least one of a known dimension or a known gravitational field change related to the gravity anomaly. The wellbore position is determined within the model by changing model input data until the gravity profile converges with the gravity anomaly.

摘要: Systems and methods of the present disclosure relate to determining a borehole holdup. A method comprises logging a well with a pulsed-neutron logging (PNL) tool; receiving, via the PNL tool, transient decay measurements, capture spectrum measurements, and inelastic spectrum measurements; extracting information from each of the capture spectrum measurements, the inelastic spectrum measurements, and the transient decay measurements; inputting all of the extracted information as a single input into artificial neural networks; and determining the borehole holdup with the artificial neural networks.
