Abstract: Techniques are described for managing a network through use of a security device that includes, or has access to, a blockchain node. The security device may manage a network of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices in a home or other environment. The security device may act as an intermediary to manage secure, trusted communications between the IoT device(s) and external service(s). The security device may also provide network security features such as a network firewall. In some implementations, the security device may run a blockchain node, and the blockchain could be used to establish a verifiable home identity. The security device may interact with external resources and/or services, such as utility services, e-commerce services, and so forth, through this secure mechanism.

Abstract: Systems and method for sensing an accessed voltage value associated with a memory cell is described. In different embodiments, a memory array may include a different number of sense components. Moreover, each sense component may receive latching signals to latch the accessed voltage value of memory cells of the memory array based on different timings. For example, the memory array may latch digit line voltages of memory cells positioned farther from a respective word line driver at a later time based on a latching signal with a higher delay. Such memory arrays may include circuitry to receive and/or generate the delayed latching signals as well as selection circuitry for latching the digit line voltages based on a selected delayed latching signals.

Abstract: Circuit breakers may perform a variety of operations, including isolating a faulty part of the power system that may result in a cascading outage. However, circuit breaker operations may cause wear and tear of the tripping assembly components, which eventually cause the circuit breaker to wear out. Additionally, long periods of non-operations may cause the mechanical parts inside a circuit breaker to move sluggishly or, in some instances, fail to move at all. In an embodiment, a system includes a circuit breaker that trips to control power flow and an intelligent electronic device (IED) including an electronic display. The IED receives measurement data associated with a trip event for the circuit breaker, generates a current profile based on the measurement data, and presents the current profile via the electronic display.

Abstract: An advanced lens system includes an advanced lens configured to be worn by an individual. The advanced lens system includes a camera configured to obtain one or more images of a property. The advanced lens system includes one or more processors communicatively coupled to the advanced lens and the camera, the one or more processors being configured to receive the one or more images of the property and process the one or more images to identify primary damage to the property. The one or more processors are also configured to predict, based on the primary damage and previous damage data stored in a database, secondary damage that is likely to be present with the primary damage. The one or more processors are further configured to provide an output indicative of the secondary damage that is likely to be present with the primary damage via a display of the advanced lens.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system that includes a drain pan. The drain pan is configured to collect condensate into a basin of the drain pan from an evaporator of the HVAC system and to direct the condensate from the basin via a drain port of the drain pan. A draining surface is formed in the basin and includes a compound slope including a first slope extending along a length of the drain pan and a second slope extending along a width of the drain pan. A raised surface extends from the draining surface and includes protrusions extending from a spine that extends along a side of the drain pan. The raised surface is configured to support the evaporator of the HVAC system.
