摘要： A method for assisting a user with procurement decisions, sourcing decisions and strategic sourcing decisions in an enterprise is disclosed. The method implements a plurality of software modules in a logical workflow process based on the results of integrating and analyzing data. The workflow process provides a plurality of steps for discovering data, analyzing data, alerting the user about the data, recommending actions to the user based on the data, and executing those actions. The workflow process is based on a Value Chain Intelligence (VCI) system, which integrates and analyzes internal data from enterprises and external data from suppliers, catalogs, and marketplaces in real time for their impact on supply chains processes. Components for such a system may consist of internal data collection components, external data collection components, data integration components, and data application components. Various methods for searching, extracting, transforming, integrating, analyzing, and representing data internal to an enterprise and data external to an enterprise are also disclosed.

摘要： An optical disk discriminating method and an optical disk device which can detect reflected rays for making discrimination among kinds of optical disks with high accuracies. By switching a plurality of lasers and moving a spherical aberration corrector while moving an objective lens to cause it to approach or keep away from an optical disk, rays reflected light from the optical disk can be detected with high accuracies. Discrimination among the kinds of a plurality of optical disks can be made on the basis of signals generated from the detected reflected rays. This ensures that the kind of an optical disk can be determined through one operation of sweeping.

摘要： Hearing systems for both hearing impaired and normal hearing subjects comprise an input transducer and a separate output transducer. The input transducer will include a light source for generating a light signal in response to either ambient sound or an external electronic sound signal. The output transducer will comprise a light-responsive transducer component which is adapted to receive light from the input transducer. The output transducer component will vibrate in response to the light input and produce vibrations in a component of a subject's hearing transduction pathway, such as the tympanic membrane, a bone in the ossicular chain, or directly on the cochlea, in order to produce neural signals representative of the original sound.

The spherical skeletal structure defines an open interior cavity, and at least some segments of the skeletal structure include a channel opening that faces toward the interior cavity. Light emitting elements transmit light to the channel openings.

Unlike conventional systems, the invention provides a system and method that includes a core workload management entity for performing workload management for multiple process lines. Each process line is defined based on the criteria for a workload, such as a product line or service based task. The method may include providing initial information related to components supply, then developing workflow processes and workflow exit criteria algorithms for individual workflow steps. The exit criteria may produce a common thread among multiple product lines, allowing the process to extend to create a diverse master workflow system to manage and monitor the workflow of an organization. The system and method are adaptable to product supply chain workflow management, project management, service provision management, and any other scenario where some level of concurrent management of multiple workflows is desired.

The multi-protocol port pin array comprises a plurality of port pins which interface with an external system for exchanging data with the external system. The transport protocol change FPGA determines roles of port pins of the multi-protocol port pin array depending on a variably changed protocol by selecting one of the plurality of programmed transport protocol circuits in response to code data. The pull-up change FPGA regulates pull-up load of the port pins corresponding to the roles of the port pins determined in the transport protocol change FPGA. The memory stores data processed in the transport protocol change FPGA unit and exchanged with the external system.
