摘要: Performance based delivery of content to an audience member. A network of audience member information collection domains provide information about audience members. A profiled audience member may belong to a network segment. Delivery of an advertisement to the profiled audience member is accommodated based upon membership in the network segment and performance criteria. The performance criteria may be configured to benefit a publisher, such as by maximizing revenue. Allocating revenue based upon the collection of data used to target audience members is also provided.

摘要: In one embodiment, one or more computer systems of a social-networking system receive an input video associated with a first user of an online social networking system. The computer systems receive, from a client system of a second user of the online social networking system, a request to view content associated with the first user. The computer systems generate one or more output videos based on the input video, the one or more output videos are generated by applying a predefined video template, and the predefined video template includes a plurality of video settings and transcodes the input video to the one or more output videos. The computer systems select one of the one or more output videos, the selected output video comprises at least a portion of the input video. The computer systems provide, for display on the client system, the selected output video together with the requested content.

摘要: A method includes storing, by one or more computer processors, a plurality of blocks in a queue, wherein each block includes at least one received message, and wherein each block is associated with a time that the block was stored in the queue. The method further includes designating, by the one or more computer processors, as inactive one or more blocks having associated storage times that are older than a first time. The method further includes reading, by the one or more computer processors, messages from inactive blocks until a second time that is older than the first time. The method further includes deleting, by the one or more computer processors, one or more inactive blocks from the queue having associated storage times that are older than the second time.

摘要: An example cloud resource provisioning method comprises: receiving a cloud resource usage data identifying a first cloud resource consumed, a first usage level associated with the first cloud resource, a second cloud resource consumed, and a second usage level associated with the second cloud resource; identifying a preference for the first cloud resource over the second cloud resource; and causing, in view of the analyzing, the first cloud resource to be provisioned at least at the first usage level and the second cloud resource to be provisioned at a reduced usage level below the second usage level.

摘要: Disclosed is a mobile event streaming system that receives customer application lifecycle and user events including a message, event source and a destination then processes data for consumption by one or more customers, generating a secure data stream and sending the processed data over the generated data stream. An example system for receiving, processing, and delivering customer application lifecycle and user engagement data includes a server system having at least one processor, memory and a network interface where the memory stores program instructions for receiving, storing, processing and transmitting messages via the network interface. The mobile event streaming system may be a distributed content delivery service wherein the content delivered via the service is processed. Processing the data comprises the addition of metadata, one or more identifiers such as user, and event identifiers including predictions of future user engagement to enable real-time data consumption by customers.

摘要: A method for registering a plurality of callbacks. The method may include receiving at least one callback function in a virtual machine, which includes a plurality of callback registration information. The method may include registering each at least one received callback function in a virtual machine tool interface within the virtual machine to a list of callback functions for an event based on the plurality of callback registration information. The method may include monitoring the virtual machine for an occurrence of the event. The method may include determining the event has occurred. The method may also include generating a local frame for each at least one registered callback function within the list of callback functions for the determined event. The method may include executing each at least one registered callback function based on each generated local frame associated with each at least one registered callback function.

摘要: A system to collect and store in a special data structure arranged for rapid searching massive amounts of data. Performance metric data is one example. The performance metric data is recorded in time-series measurements, converted into unicode, and arranged into a special data structure having one directory for every day which stores all the metric data collected that day. The performance metric data is collected by one or more probes running on machines about which data is being collected. The performance metric data is compressed prior to transmission to a server over any data path. The data structure at the server where analysis is done has a subdirectory for every resource type. Each subdirectory contains text files of performance metric data values measured for attributes in a group of attributes to which said text file is dedicated. Each attribute has its own section and the performance metric data values are recorded in time series as unicode hex numbers as a comma delimited list. Analysis of the performance metric data is done using regular expressions. For speed, cache memory is used. Performance metric data outside the start time and end time named by the user on a query screen is eliminated before the regular expression is applied.

摘要: Data bundling and fast dormancy controls are provided based on application monitoring and classification. Moreover, a balance is enabled between saving battery power of a user equipment (UE) and reducing signaling and processing load in a radio resource controller (RRC). For instance, a system can observe data flow related behavior of applications on the UE. On receiving a first data flow request, an arrival time of a next data flow request is predicted based on an analysis of the behavior, and the system determines whether the two data flows can be bundled together and transmitted over a single connection. Additionally, on completion of the first data flow, the arrival time of the next data flow request is predicted based on the analysis, and the system determines whether a fast dormancy timer can be disabled to transmit the next data flow over the current connection.

摘要: Disclosed are various embodiments for receiving, via a network, a request from a client to establish a network tunnel over the network. A credential is received from the client in order to establish the network tunnel. The client is authenticated based upon the credential. The client negotiates, via the network, to establish the network tunnel.
