    摘要: An expansion dowel assembly is made up of an axially extending dowel body and an expansion member in contacting engagement with the dowel body. The expansion member extends in the axial direction of the dowel body and is formed by a main part and an extension part projecting axially from the main part in the insertion direction of the assembly into a borehole. The cross-sectional area of the extension part transverse to the axial direction is smaller than the adjacent corresponding cross-sectional area of the main part. The extension part is shaped relative to the main part to increase the contact area of the expansion member with the dowel body and to prevent the development of excessively high surface pressures at the front end of the expansion member.

    摘要: A metal expansion dowel is made up of an axially elongated cylindrically shaped expansion sleeve and an expansion element formed monolithically with the sleeve. The expansion sleeve has a leading end and a trailing end. The sleeve has an opening with the opposite edge surfaces extending in the axial direction converging toward the leading end. The expansion element is located in the opening and is secured to the sleeve by a separable web. The expansion element is wedge-shaped and narrows in the leading end direction. An inwardly projecting stop is formed in the expansion element. When an axial force is directed toward the leading end against the stop, the web is separated from the sleeve and the expansion element is displaced axially toward the leading end of the sleeve moving along the opposite edge surfaces of the opening and widening the sleeve. Due to the converging arrangement of the opposite edge surfaces of the recess, the dowel has a post-expansion characteristic during subsequent axial loading of the expansion sleeve after it is anchored in place.

Further, an actuating unit operated by the handle lever is connected to the outlet nozzle for telescoping it relative to the supply pipe whereby material is displaced out of the supply pipe through the outlet nozzle into the borehole.

    摘要: An axially elongated fastening element is made up of an anchor bolt and a spreader wedge each having a wedge surface. Initially the two parts are inserted in the unspread condition into a borehole. By providing relative movement in the axial direction between the wedge surfaces, the fastening element is anchored in the borehole. The wedge surfaces are divided into at least two portions each disposed at a different angle relative to the axis of the fastening element. The initial spreading action is effected when the portion of the wedge surfaces having smaller angles slide relative to one another.
