Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for dynamically routing a plurality of simultaneous point-to-point communications through an array of repeating transceivers. Each repeating transceiver may simultaneously act as each of a transmitter of origin for one communication, a final receiver for a second communication, and a repeater for a plurality of other communications. When acting as a repeater, each transceiver applies programmed delays to information before re-transmitting, and these delays are programmed so as to route a communication through the array of transceivers along a designed path along which multiple re-transmissions from local repeating transceivers are received, aligned in time for constructive reinforcement, and retransmitted after dynamically programmable time delays.
Abstract:
A system for secure information storage and delivery includes a vault repository that includes a secure vault associated with a user, wherein the secure vault is associated with a service level including at least one of a data type or a data size limit associated with the secure vault, the secure vault being adapted to receive and at least one data entry and securely store the at least one data entry if the at least one of a size or a type of the at least one data entry is consistent with the service level. A mobile vault server coupled to the vault repository creates a mobile vault on a mobile device based on the secure vault and is capable of authenticating the mobile device based on user authentication information. The mobile vault server includes a mobile device handler that communicates with the mobile device. A synchronization utility determines whether the at least one data entry on the secure vault is transferable to or storable on the mobile vault based on at least one of the size or the type of the at least one data entry and transfers the at least one data entry from the secure vault to a corresponding data entry on the mobile vault if the at least one data entry on the secure vault is determined to be transferable to or storable on the mobile vault.
Abstract:
The invention relates to kinase inhibitor ligands and polyligands. In particular, the invention relates to ligands and polyligands that modulate ERK activity. The ligands and polyligands are utilized as research tools or as therapeutics. The invention includes linkage of the ligands and polyligands to a cellular localization signal, epitope tag and/or a reporter. The invention also includes polynucleotides encoding the ligands and polyligands.
Abstract:
The present invention is related to a paperboard product having a basis weight in a range of 100 to 350 pounds per 3,000 square feet. The paperboard comprises at least one coated surface suitable for printing. The at least one coated surface comprising cellulosic fibers and from about 0.05 to about 0.5 wt. % dry basis expanded synthetic polymer microspheres based on total weight of the of cellulosic fiber dispersed thereof. The coated surface has a Parker smoothness less than about 2.0 and a Hagerty/Sheffield smoothness not less than about 20 Sheffield units.
Abstract:
A development station in an electrostatographic imaging machine supports longer operational life without undue variation in the mass of developer on roll parameter. The development station includes a developer housing, for retaining a quantity of developer having semi-conductive carrier particles and toner particles, a first magnetic roll having a stationary core with at least one magnet and a sleeve having longitudinal grooves that rotates about the stationary core of the first magnetic roll to transport developer to a photoreceptor, a second magnetic roll having a stationary core with at least one magnet and a sleeve having longitudinal grooves that rotates about the stationary core of the second magnetic roll to receive developer from the first magnetic roll and present the developer to the photoreceptor, the sleeve of the second magnetic roll being fabricated from a material that is softer than the sleeve of the first magnetic roll.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed to debug a computer program. The method provides a computer program comprising source code, and a listing of that source code. The method further provides a computing device comprising a data storage medium, and stores the computer program in that data storage medium. The method then runs the computer program, and subsequently detects an error condition. The method creates and saves to the data storage medium a dump file comprising (N) save areas. Using information abstracted from the dump file and the source code listing, the method reproduces the source code execution at the time the error condition was detected.
Abstract:
A bridge is disclosed having a security engine. The bridge permit cryptographic services to be offloaded from a central processing unit to the bridge.
Abstract:
A realistic three-dimensional replica casting of naturally occurring samples of wood, rock and marine specimens produces realistic appearing landscape or indoor light modules that can simulate flickering candles in nightclubs and restaurants. The method employs a two-part barrier mold technique enabling production of an exact copy of the whole, full bodied, original specimen and includes a lamp unit pattern for creating a three dimensional space for containing a lamp module that is positioned adjacent a relatively flat face of the replica of the natural specimen. The final casting is made of fortified cement that is permanently stained with metallic salts in an HCL solution producing the desired coloration matching that of the original specimen while masking the color of the concrete. The replica is solid and heavy and need not be attached to the ground during outdoor use to maintain it in place, due to the weight of the concrete.
Abstract:
An evacuation system using a combination of elements, such as an on-site weather station (2), a computer system (1) with proprietary software, sensors and other elements to determine a safe direction of evacuation from a premises (11) in case of a threat, use indicators to determine the direction of evacuation and notification of parties external to the premises (11) of evacuation.
Abstract:
Circuits, methods, and apparatus that adaptively control 1T and 2T timing for a memory controller interface. An embodiment of the present invention provides a first memory interface as well as an additional memory interface, each having a number of address and control lines. The address and control lines of the redundant memory interface may be individually enabled and disabled. If a line in the additional interface is enabled, it and its corresponding line in the first interface drive a reduced load and may operate at the higher 1T data rate. If a line in the additional interface is disabled, then its corresponding line in the first interface drives a higher load and may operate at the slower 2T data rate. In either case, the operating speed of the interface may also be considered in determining whether each line operates with 1T or 2T timing.
