    摘要: An apparatus and a method for changing optical tweezers are provided. The apparatus includes a diffractive optical element (DOE), a mask unit and an objective lens. The DOE includes a plurality of phase delay patterns. The mask unit includes a plurality of mask patterns that correspond to the phase delay patterns, respectively, wherein at least a portion of the mask patterns are complementary. A laser beam passing through each phase diffractive pattern correspondingly passes through each mask pattern to generate a compound diffractive pattern. The objective lens receives the compound diffractive pattern and focuses it on an examining object to form an optical tweezers.

    摘要: An optical disk mold is provided. The optical disk mold includes a first mold plate, a second mold plate, and a stamper. A mold cavity having a disk-shape is included between the first mold plate and the second mold plate for manufacturing an optical disk. A heat-keeping surface layer formed by a spraying process is included on a surface of the second mold plate in the mold cavity, so that the optical disk mold has a better pattern-transferring ability, and the cycle time of producing the disk can be shortened. The stamper lies on the heat-keeping surface layer of the second mold plate. A microstructure pattern is included on a surface of the stamper, so as to transfer the microstructure pattern to the produced optical disk.

The incident surface includes a plurality of incident blocks arranged with each incident block respectively positioned beside a corresponding LED. A reflection film may be used to reflect light generated from the plurality of LEDs and a diffuser sheet may be positioned at one side of a light-exit surface of the light guide panel.

    摘要: A patterned retardation film including a base substrate, a patterned resin layer and a liquid crystal layer is provided. The patterned resin layer having plurality of first areas and a plurality of second areas is disposed on the base substrate. The combination of the first and second areas is a grating-like stripe structure. The patterned resin layer includes an aligning micron structure. The aligning micron structure includes a plurality of first sub micron grooves and a plurality of second sub micron grooves respectively located in the first areas and the second areas. The liquid crystal layer is disposed on the patterned resin layer and aligned with the aligning micron structure. The liquid crystal layer disposed above the first areas provides a first phase retardation. The liquid crystal layer disposed above the second areas provides a second phase retardation.

    摘要: A patterned retarder film comprises a first substrate, a pattern configuration, an alignment layer formed on the pattern configuration, and a liquid crystal layer disposed on the alignment layer. The pattern configuration comprises a plurality of first regions and a plurality of second regions, wherein the first regions are grating relief structure and interleaved with the second regions. A liquid crystal layer is coated on the alignment layer to cover the first regions and the second regions of the pattern configuration to a plane with a determined thickness on the surface of the first regions. The first phase retardation of the liquid crystal layer on the first regions and the second phase retardation of the liquid crystal layer on the second regions are different by 180°. The method for manufacturing the same is disclosed.

The method includes providing a base film; forming an alignment layer on a first surface of the base film; coating a liquid crystal material on the alignment layer as a liquid crystal layer; aligning the liquid crystal layer with the alignment layer; embossing the liquid crystal layer with a predetermined pattern to form a patterned layer with a plurality of first and second retardation regions. The structure of the first and second retardation regions are grating-like stripe structure and parallel to each other and the structure of the second retardation regions are grooving-like stripe structure and interleaved with each other. The patterned liquid crystal layer is cured. The phase retardation of the first and second retardation regions is different by 180°.

    摘要: An optical tweezers lifting apparatus is provided. The optical tweezers lifting apparatus includes an optical tweezers and a particle-lifting device. The particle-lifting device includes a substrate and a plurality of electrodes that are disposed on the bottom of a flow path in the substrate. When a dielectrophoresis (DEP) solution with a plurality of floating particles is conducted into the flow path and upon those electrodes and a voltage is applied to these electrodes, these particles would be driven by a negative DEP force to move upward to a specific depth in the flow path. Meanwhile, the optical tweezers of the apparatus is selectively focused at the specific depth in the flow path.
