Abstract:
A computer-implemented method includes receiving, by one or more computer systems, first information from a first channel and second information from a second channel; merging the first information with the second information; applying an unsupervised clustering model to the merged information; and generating, based on results of the applying, a cross-channel cluster, the cross-channel cluster including (i) a portion of the first information associated with a subject matter, and (ii) a portion of the second information associated with the subject matter.
Abstract:
Among other disclosed subject matter, a computer-implemented method that includes receiving a set of clusters of documents and calculating a similarity score for each cluster wherein the similarity score is based at least in part on features included in the documents in the cluster and indicates a measure of similarity of the documents in the cluster. For each cluster associated with a respective similarity score greater than a first threshold, identifying the cluster as satisfying a quality assurance requirement. For each cluster associated with a respective similarity score less than a second threshold, identifying the cluster as failing the quality assurance requirement. For each cluster associated with a similarity score less than or equal to the first threshold value and greater than or equal to the second threshold value, reviewing at least a subset of documents in the cluster to determine whether the cluster satisfies the quality assurance requirement.

A self-wringing mop is disclosed that comprises a handle, a mounting support forming an axis of rotation, wherein the mounting support is connected with the handle, a cleaning portion connected with the mounting support in such a manner that the cleaning portion is rotatable about the axis, and a pressing member connected with the handle, wherein the pressing member engages with the cleaning portion to inhibit rotation of the cleaning portion.
Abstract:
A number of levels of a cluster hierarchy may be determined, and a current level of the levels may be obtained by providing a current input to at least one clustering algorithm to thereby obtain a current output of the at least one clustering algorithm, where the current output includes a current plurality of clusters and defines the current level. Content information associated with each cluster of the current output from the at least one clustering algorithm may be aggregated to obtain aggregated content information for each cluster of the current output. The obtaining and the aggregating may be repeated, using the aggregated content information as the new current input, to thereby obtain a new current output defining a new current level during the obtaining, and using the new current output during the aggregating, until the new current level equals the number of levels.
Abstract:
A fastening system includes a first connecting member, a second connecting member, a rivet, and an elastic member. The second connecting member is positioned on the first connecting member, and defines a receiving groove. The rivet extends through the first connecting member and the second connecting member, and rivets the first connecting member and the second connecting member together. The rivet forms a riveting flange at an end adjacent to the second connecting member. The elastic member is received in the receiving groove of the second connecting member, and compressed by the riveting flange to generate a predetermined positive pressing force between the first connecting member and the second connecting member. A fastening device for manufacturing the fastening system is also provided.
Abstract:
An exemplary hinge positioning structure (20) includes a pair of first leaves (22), a pivot shaft (262) rotatably engaged in the pair of first leaves, and a pair of pivot shaft grippers (24) sleeved on the pivot shaft. An end of each pivot shaft gripper engaged with each of the first leaves respectively so that the end of each pivot shaft gripper is fixed relative to each of the first leaves. The hinge positioning structure further includes a resilient member (266), two ends of the resilient member connected to the pair of pivot shaft grippers respectively, and applying a force on the pair of pivot shaft grippers so that the pair of pivot shaft grippers tightly grip the pivot shaft, such that the pivot shaft is prevented from rotating relative to the first leaves.
Abstract:
A semiconductor light emitting device for emission of light having a predetermined bandwidth in a primary direction of emission includes a light generating region for the generation of light; and a 1-dimensional photonic crystal structure having a photonic bandgap covering at least a segment of said bandwidth. The 1-dimensional photonic crystal structure is located such that upon incident of light from the light generating region, light having a wavelength within the bandgap of the 1-dimensional photonic crystal structure is reflected in the primary direction of emission.
Abstract:
An exemplary elevating mechanism used for a flat-panel display monitor includes a support structure, a sliding structure, and a pneumatic cylinder. The support structure includes a pair of guide rails. The sliding structure is mounted to the support structure and is capable of sliding along the guide rails. The pneumatic cylinder includes a cylinder body, a piston shaft, and a first piston. The cylinder body is connected to the support structure. The piston shaft includes a first end received in the cylinder body, and a second end opposite to the first end connected to the sliding structure. The first piston is positioned in the cylinder body and partitions the cylinder body into two chambers. The two chambers are filled with gas. The first piston is fixed to the first end of the piston shaft and defines a through hole for communicating the two chambers.
Abstract:
A process for the minimization of phosphonium ion ligand degradation products formed during reaction of a polyunsaturated olefin or an unconjugated functionalized olefin in the presence of a transition metal-triorganophosphine ligand complex catalyst to form as a product, by-product, or intermediate product a conjugated functionalized olefin having a carbon-carbon double bond conjugated to an α-electron-withdrawing group, such as, an α,β-unsaturated aldehyde, ketone, ester, acid, or nitrile. The minimization process involves conducting the reaction under selected conditions of conversion, temperature, pressure, or a combination thereof; and/or by selecting a triorganophosphine ligand with a specified steric and/or electronic property. Further, a process for reversion of phosphonium ion ligand degradation product(s) back to useful triorganophosphine ligand(s), the reversion involving treating a reaction product fluid containing the degradation product(s) with an inert gas, hydrogen, synthesis gas, or a mixture thereof under conditions sufficient to regenerate the triorganophosphine ligand(s).
