Abstract: A heated steering wheel having a heated element that provides a uniform distribution of heat throughout the rim of the steering wheel. The heating element is a thin fabric woven made from nylon coated with silver and has a constant temperature coefficient. The heated steering wheel provides a foam layer surrounding the heating element, and this layer prevents the leather wrapping from being uneven due to the presence of the bus bar. The heating element can also be used in a steering wheel having a wood veneer shell.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for electrofusing a cell pellet comprising a plurality of tiers of cells of two different cell types to be fused which results in the formation of hybrid cells with high efficiency and high viability. The method comprises subjecting the cell pellet, and a pulse medium in contact with the cell pellet, with multiple pulses of voltage. A method and apparatus for electrofusing a cell-vesicle pellet comprising a plurality of tiers of a cell type and of membrane vesicles, and wherein the membrane vesicles are loaded with an exogenous macromolecule to be delivered to the cell type during fusion, which results in the formation of fused cells containing the exogenous macromolecule with high efficiency and high viability. Alteratively, the membrane vesicles may contain at least one type of exogenous macromolecule inserted into its membrane. Fusion with a target cell results in the exogenous macromolecule being incorporated into the cell membrane of the target cell with high efficiency and high viability. The method comprises subjecting the cell-vesicle pellet, and a pulse medium in contact with the cell-vesicle pellet, with multiple pulses of voltage.

Abstract: An apparatus, method, and system are disclosed. In one embodiment the apparatus includes a cache memory, which a number of sets. Each of the sets in the cache memory have several cache lines. The apparatus also includes at least one process resource table. The process resource table maintains a cache line occupancy count of a number of cache lines. Specifically, the cache line occupancy count for each cache line describes the number of cache lines in the cache storing information utilized by a process running on a computer system. Additionally, the process resource table stores the occupancy count of less cache lines than the total number of cache lines in the cache memory.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for separating carbon dioxide from a flue gas from energy conversion, wherein the flue gas is first supplied to a membrane unit, comprising at least one membrane module having a CO2-selective membrane, with a portion of the CO2 being separated in the module from the flue gas as an enriched CO2 permeate. The flue gas thus depleted (retentate) is subsequently supplied to at least one additional CO2 separating unit, in which a portion of the CO2 is separated from the flue gas by an adsorbent or absorbent. Also disclosed is a device that is suitable for carrying out the aforementioned methods for separating CO2 from a flue gas using a membrane unit, comprising at least one membrane module having a CO2-selective membrane and having an additional CO2 separating unit, comprising an adsorbent or absorbent.
