Abstract:
A description is given of a fluorescent lamp having spacers 6 for supporting a wall 2 of the discharge vessel, the fluorescent layer 3 having (8) a reduced thickness in a surrounding region of the spacer 6.
Abstract:
A gas discharge lamp having a discharge vessel (202) which is at least partially transparent and filled with a gas filling, a number of essentially strip-shaped anodes (205, 206) and cathodes (203, 204) which extend on the walls of the discharge vessel and essentially parallel to each other, and a dielectric layer (215) between at least the anodes and the gas filling for a dielectrically impeded discharge in the discharge vessel between neighboring anodes and cathodes, characterized in that at least one anode pair (205) is arranged between two cathodes (203, 204) respectively adjacent to one anode pair.
Abstract:
A flat radiator (4), suitable for a dielectrically impeded discharge and with a discharge vessel (5) made from an electrically non-conducting material has strip-like electrodes (6, 7) arranged on the wall of the discharge vessel (5), cathodes (6) and anodes (7a) being arranged alternately next to one another, and at least the anodes being separated from the interior of the discharge vessel (5) by a dielectric material (10). In each case one additional anode (7b) is arranged between neighbouring cathodes (6), that is to say in each case one anode pair (7a, 7b) is arranged between the neighbouring cathodes (6). The result is a uniform discharge structure accompanied by optimum utilization of the discharge vessel. FIG. 3b
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a discharge lamp with a floor plate and a roof plate, which is designed for dielectrically impeded discharge, with at least two electrodes of different polarity being allocated to the sections of the discharge space, which is divided by rib-like support elements, with the electrodes located at a distance from the longitudinal support elements.
Abstract:
In a discharge lamp having a discharge vessel and external electrodes, at least one electrode similar to a conductor track is an integral part of a laminate (5) which is adhesively bonded to the outer side of the discharge vessel and includes a carrier film made of electric insulating material.
Abstract:
An illumination system for backlighting liquid crystal displays has a flat lamp, which has a front side provided for emitting the light and a rear side opposite the front side, a flat housing having a planar rear wall and four side walls, the flat lamp being arranged within the housing on the rear wall, and a frame that at least partially surrounds the side walls of the housing and extends at least up to the edge of the flat lamp.
Abstract:
A process for producing a discharge lamp which is designed for dielectric barrier discharges in which, during a filling step, before the discharge chamber is closed, a part of the discharge vessel is held in a raised position by a support element which is then at least partially softened, in order for the part which is being held in a raised position to be lowered. The support element lies outside the discharge chamber.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a new design of discharge vessel for a discharge lamp, in which dielectrically impeded discharges are to be generated. In this case, a discharge vessel plate 1, 9 is, as it were, of two-fold design, specifically as a first discharge vessel plate 1 with an external electrode set and, in addition, as a stabilizing plate 9 outside the first discharge vessel plate 1.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a discharge lamp having a base plate and a cover which is arranged in an essentially parallel manner thereto and which is corrugated in order to enable light to exit in a homogeneous manner.
