Abstract: Methods, systems, and programming for updating a search index are described herein. In a non-limiting embodiment, event data representing actions performed on a plurality of content items managed via the search index may be obtained. The event data may be filtered based on pre-determined criteria to generate updated event data, where the updated event data represents relevant actions performed on at least one of the plurality of content items and are associated with the search index. An updated search index based on the updated event data may then be generated.

The first language may be selected as a primary language of the device. A request for content may be received. A first revenue value associated with presentation of content items via client devices within the first period of time may be determined. The first expected revenue threshold may be modified to generate a second expected revenue threshold based upon the first revenue value and a target revenue value. Whether to present a second content item via a second client device may be determined based upon a comparison of a second expected revenue associated with the second content item with the second expected revenue threshold.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing workloads across multiple resources in a distributed computing system. A data traffic flow between a source device and each of a plurality of target devices within the distributed computing system is monitored. A load state of each of the plurality of target devices is determined based on the monitored data traffic flow. Upon detecting a resource constraint for at least one of the plurality of target devices, at least a portion of the data traffic flow between the source device and the resource-constrained target device is adjusted such that the device operates at a reduced load state. The data traffic flow to the particular target device may be readjusted so as to restore its load state to a default or predetermined operating level once the resource constrained has been resolved.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for commentary generation are provided. For example, a conversation, occurring through a conversation interface associated with a content item, is monitored to identify a tone of the conversation (e.g., users discussing a news article). If the tone deviates from a target tone (e.g., a negative tone of inflammatory comments, a low participation tone, an off topic tone, etc.), then intervention is automatically and programmatically performed for the conversation. The comment is posted to the conversation interface in order to improve the conversation, such as to increase positive engagement by users.

Abstract: A digital asset management system (DAMS) provides an integrated user experience for the rapid and facile manipulation of a users digital assets in an online environment. Spanning the spectrum of digital assets, the DAMS system set forth herein enables users to tag, fitter, collect, and show such digital assets in a manner which requires preferably minimal user interaction in order to achieve digital asset management and exhibition. Sharing among friends and family becomes much easier and incoming digital assets may be automatically segregated according to user choices or history to enable easier management of such assets. Recognition of relationships, characteristics, features, and the like between different assets may occur automatically and develop an ongoing fashion to enable association of such similar assets into “collections” or the like.
