Abstract:
Compositions of gel-like appearance, comprising an oily phase formed of at least 75% of organopolysiloxane, dispersed in an aqueous phase containing at least 25% of water, using an emulsifying agent formed of at least one sucrose ester, are stable in the presence of compounds which are not compatible with conventional gelling agents.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a substantially dry cosmetic article for dyeing keratin materials, comprising a porous flexible substrate, and at least one direct dyes and/or direct dye precursor in powder form, which are capable of dyeing the keratin material via heat transfer, the substrate and the direct dyes or direct dye precursors being non-covalently bonded to the substrate. Disclosed herein is also a method for dyeing keratin materials, for example, human keratin materials, via dry heat transfer, using the dry heat-transfer cosmetic article.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an article containing (A) a water-insoluble substrate and (B) containing an aqueous phase and N-(3-chloroallyl)hexaminium chloride. According to one preferred embodiment of the invention, the composition also contains at least one C1-C4 alkyl para hydroxybenzoate and/or at least one ethylenediamine-tetraacetic acid salt. The article may especially constitute a wipe for cleansing and/or removing makeup from the facial and/or body skin, and also for removing makeup from the eyes. The wipe may be in the form of a moist or dry wipe.
Abstract:
Cosmetic composition comprising particles of melamine-formaldehyde or urea-formaldehyde resin and its uses. The present application relates to a composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one oily phase and particles of melamine-formaldehyde or urea-formaldehyde resin, to the use of the said composition, especially as a cosmetic composition for caring for and/or making up the skin, in particular for softening defects of the relief of the skin, such as microrelief features, wrinkles or pores, while conferring a natural appearance on the skin, and to its use in treating greasy skin. The particles advantageously have a number-average size ranging from approximately 0.1 to 20 &mgr;m. The composition of the invention can be anhydrous or can be provided in the form of a water-in-oil or oil-in-water emulsion. The invention also relates to the use of particles of melamine-formaldehyde or urea-formaldehyde resin as mattifying agent in a cosmetic composition.
Abstract:
Topically applicable UVA photoprotective cosmetic/dermatological compositions comprise an effective photoprotecting amount of at least one UVA screening agent substituted by at least one optionally neutralized sulfo functional group, and an effective UVA photoprotecting-enhancing amount of at least one otherwise non-UVA photoprotecting iron chelating agent, thereby imparting a synergistic protection factor (PF) effect thereto, in a cosmetically/dermatologically acceptable topical vehicle, carrier or diluent therefor.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use, in cosmetic compositions for cleansing and/or removing make-up in particular from the skin, mucous membranes, eyes, and/or the hair, of at least one succinic anhydride derivative corresponding to one of the formulae I and II:GOOC--(HR)C--C(HR')--COO--(C.sub.m H.sub.2m O).sub.n --H (I)GOOC--(HR)C--C(HR')--COO--(C.sub.m H.sub.2m O).sub.n --C.sub.p H.sub.2p --O--CO--(HR')C--C(HR)--COOG (II).
