In another aspect, the present invention includes the steps of forming a crystallizing-induced substance on an amorphous silicon layer wherein the crystallizing-induced substance has predetermined density on an unit area of the amorphous silicon layer, and treating thermally the amorphous silicon layer on which the crystallizing-induced substance is formed.

    摘要: A multichannel 3-stage optical fiber amplifier includes a first amplification unit for amplifying an input multichannel multiplexed signal light, a gain equalization unit for equalizing gains for each channel by causing a different amount of loss for each channel in the amplified signal light having a different gain at each channel by the first amplification unit, and a second amplification unit for amplifying the signal light output from the gain equalization unit. Thus, an equalized gain with respect to each channel wavelength can be obtained by a gain equalization unit placed between two amplifiers. Also, signal-to-noise ratio performance can be improved by removing spontaneous emission noise using a wavelength divider.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are a liquid crystal display device, in which a bi-directional internal gate drive circuit is used to cut the number of data lines in half, and a method of driving such liquid crystal display devices. The liquid crystal device includes a pixel array having a plurality of pixels on a lower substrate. The pixels are configured such that two pixels horizontally adjacent to each other are paired to share the same data line. First and second gate drive circuits are housed in the left and right sides of the lower substrate so as to be independently operated in the left and right side of the pixel array. The first gate drive circuit is formed of first to nth odd shift registers, and the second gate drive circuit is formed of first to nth even shift registers.

    摘要: Disclosed is a shift register capable of mitigating gate bias stress. The shift register, including a plurality of stages, includes an output buffer having a pull-up transistor and two pull-down transistors, each with gates connected to different nodes. One of the two pull-down transistors operates during an even frame portion of an LCD operation; and the other of the two pull-down transistors operates during an odd frame portion of the LCD display operation. Alternating operation of the pull-down transistors substantially mitigates gate stress, and substantially enables the shift register to be fabricated with amorphous silicon.
