    摘要: The present invention provides STAT3 inhibitors which preferentially suppress proliferation of cancer over non-cancer cells and inhibit migration and invasion of malignant cells. The inhibitors of the present invention selectively inhibit STAT3 binding to DNA without affecting the activation and dimerization of STAT3. Furthermore, the inhibitors of the present invention inhibit expression of STAT3 downstream target genes and STAT3 binding to chromatin in situ.

    摘要: An electronic apparatus (10) includes a main body (30), a lid (20) pivotably connected with a side of the main body, a magnetic detecting unit (40) and a magnetic shield member (28). The detecting unit includes a magnetic body (42) mounted on one of the main body or the lid and a magnetic detector (44) mounted on the other one of the main body or the lid, respectively. The magnetic body has a facing side (421) to face the magnetic detector. The magnetic detector detects a position of the lid according to a magnetic field intensity of the magnetic body. The magnetic shield member is disposed at a distance from the facing side and adjacent to a second side (422) of the magnetic body, to prevent the magnetic field from extending in the direction of the second side of the magnetic body.

    摘要: A method for producing furfural from lignocellulosic biomass material is provided, comprising (a) contacting the lignocellulosic biomass material with a mixture comprising water and an organic acid at a temperature of at least 100° C. and a pressure of at most 10 bar (absolute) to obtain a first liquid stream comprising hydrolysed hemicellulose and a second stream comprising lignin and cellulose; (b) maintaining the first liquid stream comprising hydrolysed hemicellulose at a temperature of at least 130° C. to obtain a second liquid stream comprising furfural; and (c) separating the furfural obtained in step b) from the second liquid stream.
