Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, first receptacle terminals, second receptacle terminals, a shielding plate, and a terminal organizer. The insulated housing is in the receptacle cavity of the metallic shell. The first receptacle terminals are assembled with the insulated housing. The second receptacle terminals are assembled with the terminal organizer. The insulated housing and the terminal organizer are assembled with each other. The shielding plate is between the first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals. The terminal organizer extends the fixation portion attaching to the front portions of the second receptacle terminals, so that the front portions of the second receptacle terminals are securely held on the tongue portion. Therefore, when the terminal organizer is deformed due to heating, the front portions of the second receptacle terminals can be still fixed on the tongue portion without being deflected upwardly.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a metallic shell structure having a port, an insulation housing disposed in the metallic shell structure, a shielding plate disposed inside the insulation housing, and two rows of conductive terminal sets disposed on the insulation housing with each on two opposing sides of the shielding plate. A conductive contact portion is formed around the port by the metallic shell structure. Therefore, as the electrical connector is assembled with an external device, the conductive contact portion can be in contact with the external device. Hence, a grounding effect is achieved, and an electromagnetic compatibility is improved.

Abstract: A standing-type electrical receptacle connector includes a first terminal module, a second terminal module, and a grounding plate that are received in a metallic shell. The first terminal module includes a first insulated member and first receptacle terminals. The second terminal module includes a second insulated member and second receptacle terminals. The first receptacle terminals include first ground terminals, and tail portions of the first ground terminals are extending out of the first insulated member. The grounding plate includes legs each disposed between the corresponding tail portions, each of the legs and the corresponding tail portions are aligned along a vertical line and inserted into the same ground soldering hole of a circuit board. Therefore, the cost for soldering procedure can be reduced.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of first receptacle terminals, a plurality of second receptacle terminals, and a terminal organizer. The insulated housing is received in the metallic shell. The first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals are respectively held at the top and the bottom of the insulated housing. The first receptacle terminals are longer than the second receptacle terminals. In assembly, the first receptacle terminals, of bar shape, are firstly processed with the terminal organizer. And then, the first receptacle terminals and the terminal organizer are assembled on the base portion and the tongue portion. Hence, the insert-molding procedure would not be affected by the first receptacle terminals with longer length.

Abstract: An interference-proof electrical plug connector has an insulative housing, two terminal sets, a shielding-grounding plate and a shell. The terminal sets are mounted in the insulative housing and each terminal sets has multiple conductive terminals. Each terminal set has multiple conductive terminals and at least one pair of super-speed signal terminals. Each super-speed signal terminal has a mounting section including a widening tab laterally protruding from the mounting section toward an adjacent super-speed signal terminal to reduce the distance between the super-speed signal terminals of the pair. The shielding-grounding plate is mounted in a rear end of the insulative housing. The widening tabs of each pair of the super-speed signal terminals effectively diminish impedance of the super-speed signal terminal such that input loss and return loss of the super-speed signal terminals are reduced.

Abstract: A waterproof electrical receptacle connector includes a plastic shell, a metallic shell, an insulated housing, and a sealing member (e.g., a waterproof glue block). The plastic shell has a through hole and includes an inserting end and a sealed end respectively at two sides of the through hole. The metallic shell is disposed in the through hole and the metallic shell defines a receiving cavity. The insulated housing is disposed in the receiving cavity. A plurality of receptacle terminals is assembled to the insulated housing. The sealing member is filled in the sealed end to fill a gap between the metallic shell and the plastic shell, and the sealing member is also filled in the bottom of the base portion where the receptacle terminals are exposed for improving the waterproof function of the connector.
