摘要: A modular flow controller for controlling fluid flow, including a flow control assembly for establishing a desired flow rate. The flow control assembly includes a flow adjustment interface rendered in a substantially horizontal position for receiving a control input to establish a flow rate. The modular flow control assembly includes a valve assembly in operational engagement with the flow control assembly for discharging a desired quantity of fluid from the modular flow controller. The modular flow controller is preferably applied to a beverage dispenser's dispensing valve assembly, wherein the dispensing valve assembly includes a faucet plate. Accordingly, due to the configuration of the modular flow controller, it is unnecessary to secure the modular flow controller to the faucet plate for operation thereof. The modular flow controller includes a drink integrity locking unit for preventing access to a flow adjustment interface. The modular flow controller may include a back block interface element for linking the modular flow controller to a back block. The modular flow controller may include a fitting lock for a fluid carrying element, such as standard fittings, couplings as well as beverage fluid lines. The fitting lock, in turn, includes a body and a sliding element in cooperative engagement with the body for securing the fluid carrying element to the body. The modular flow controller may include a coil assembly to restrict fluid flow. The coil assembly, in turn, includes an actuator retainment lip extending outwardly for supporting an actuator element within a plunger chamber.

摘要: In a beverage dispensing nozzle, a cap member includes first, second, and third beverage syrup inlet ports coupled to a respective first, second, and third beverage syrup sources and a mixing fluid inlet port coupled to a mixing fluid source. An inner housing including a chamber is coupled to the cap member. A first annulus disposed within the chamber of the inner housing defines a first annular beverage syrup channel with the inner housing, wherein the first beverage syrup inlet port communicates beverage syrup to the first annular beverage syrup channel for discharge from the beverage dispensing nozzle in an annular flow pattern. A second annulus disposed within the chamber of the inner housing defines a second annular beverage syrup channel with the first annulus, wherein the second beverage syrup inlet port communicates beverage syrup to the second annular beverage syrup channel for discharge from the beverage dispensing nozzle in an annular flow pattern. A third annulus disposed within the chamber of the inner housing defines a third annular beverage syrup channel with the second annulus, wherein the third beverage syrup inlet port communicates beverage syrup to the third annular beverage syrup channel for discharge from the beverage dispensing nozzle in an annular flow pattern. The first annulus, the second annulus, and the third annulus align to define an irregularly shaped beverage syrup outlet that manipulates the annular flow pattern of the beverage syrup to prevent beverage syrup carryover. An outer housing coupled to the cap member defines an annular mixing fluid channel with the inner housing, wherein the mixing fluid inlet port communicates mixing fluid to the annular mixing fluid channel for discharge from the beverage dispensing nozzle in an annular flow pattern that contacts exiting beverage syrup to mix therewith outside the beverage dispensing nozzle.

摘要: A postmix juice dispenser for use with a disposable juice concentrate package that includes an integral progressive cavity pump and a mixing nozzle. The dispenser can read a product I.D. label on the package to automatically change ratios as packages are switched and a low liquid level indicator in the package to both warn the operator and to then provide automatic shut-off. A controller adjusts the pump motor speed in response to signals from a water flow meter to provide excellent control of ratio, even as water pressure changes. An easy lift-out refrigeration deck is located over an ice-water bath tank capable of holding 27 pounds of ice.

摘要: An apparatus for dispensing ice includes a bin and a shroud that contains a recess for housing a wheel. The shroud mounts to a front wall of the bin and includes a chute that communicates exterior to the bin. The shroud further includes a curved plate that directs ice into the recess so that the wheel can raise the ice to the chute. A plate mounts at an angle sloping downward towards the front wall of the bin to direct ice onto the curved plate of the shroud. A discharge chute assembly mounts to the ice bin and communicates with the chute of the shroud to permit the delivery of the ice exterior to the bin. A gear motor drives the wheel to facilitate the lifting of the ice to the chute of the shroud. Alternatively, in a combination ice and beverage dispenser, the plate mounted within the bin is replaced with a cold plate mounted within the bin at an angle sloping downward towards the front wall of the bin. The cold plate directs ice in the bin onto the curved plate of the shroud and communicates at inlets to a beverage source to cool beverages before dispensing. Dispensing valves communicate with outlets from the cold plate to permit the dispensing of beverages from the ice and beverage dispensing apparatus.

摘要: A beverage dispenser for dispensing beverages includes a touch panel assembly, removable fittings in a carbonator, a carbonator probe, and a carbonator pump assembly removable from a front of the beverage dispenser. The touch panel assembly includes a light source for backlighting a user interface and providing the dispenser with a visual presence. Electrode traces in the touch panel assembly detect interruptions in electrode fields and are accepted as user inputs for dispensing a beverage. A controller conducts the lighting, dispensing, and reconfiguring operations for the flavor selection areas on the user interface. The touch panel assembly further includes provisions for increasing a user interface area to increase visibility of a particular flavor, as well as bonus flavors on a beverage dispenser. The removable fittings each include an orifice for entry of water to be carbonated into the carbonator. The carbonator probe is a single wire probe with timed refill.
