摘要: A multi-layer touchscreen assembly for an appliance includes a panel including an outer touchscreen surface, an opaque layer positioned below the touchscreen surface and having at least one transparent area therein defining lighting of at least one visual touch control region, a printed circuit board positioned below the opaque layer, the printed circuit board including a plurality of light-emitting diodes proximate one or more corresponding capacitive touch sensors of a first visual touch control region of the one or more visual touch control regions, and the one or more capacitive touch sensors configured to provide a visual indication of a control aspect of the appliance according to a user's touch input. The assembly also includes at least one diffusion portion operatively positioned between the opaque layer at a transparent area thereof and the printed circuit board at the first visual touch control region.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an intelligent lighting control system for automated lighting adjustments. The system includes a first light control module configured to cause a transmission of a first quantity of electrical energy to a first lighting circuit of a first light fixture electrically connected to the first lighting control module. The system transmits a control message from the first light control module to at least one second light control module configured to cause a transmission of a second quantity of electrical energy to at least one second lighting circuit of at least one second light fixture electrically connected to the at least one second lighting control module. The system changes a flow of electricity from the at least one second light control module to the at least one second lighting circuit based on the input received via the first light control module.

摘要: Apparatus comprises adapter and speaker system. Adapter is configured to plug into port of personal digital audio player. Speaker system is in communication with adapter, and comprises multiple acoustic transducers, programmable processor circuit, and wireless communication circuit. In first operational mode, processor circuit receives, via adapter, and processes digital audio content from personal digital audio player into which adapter is plugged, and the multiple acoustic transducers output the received audio content from the personal digital audio player. In second operational mode, wireless communication circuit receives digital audio content from a remote digital audio source over a wireless network, processor circuit processes the digital audio content received from remote digital audio source, and the multiple acoustic transducers output the audio content received from the remote digital audio source.

摘要: This disclosure relates to speakers and more specifically to an array speaker for distributing music uniformly across a room. A number of audio drivers can be radially distributed within a speaker housing so that an output of the drivers is distributed evenly throughout the room. In some embodiments, the exit geometry of the audio drivers can be configured to bounce off a surface supporting the array speaker to improve the distribution of music throughout the room. The array speaker can include a number of vibration isolation elements distributed within a housing of the array speaker. The vibration isolation elements can be configured reduce the strength of forces generated by a subwoofer of the array speaker.

The wooden exterior surface acts a dielectric for the capacitive touch user interface. The loudspeaker may comprise a wireless transceiver circuit for receiving and transmitting wireless communication signals via a wireless network. The wireless transceiver circuit may receive wirelessly audio content from streaming audio content servers that are connected to the Internet. The capacitive touch user interface comprises a plurality of user control icons etched in the wooden exterior surface, and a plurality of capacitive sense electrodes located under the wooden exterior surface.

摘要: In the present invention, a capacitance-type switch is provided with an operation plate and an electrode plate. The operation plate forms operation surfaces operated by the touch of a fingertip F (operation body) of a user. The electrode plate is disposed on the side of the operation plate opposite the operation surfaces. Furthermore, the capacitance-type switch is turned on and off in response to the change in capacitance caused between the fingertip F and the electrode plate. In addition, a high-permittivity material is disposed in an outer circumferential section of the electrode plate, the high-permittivity material having a higher permittivity than the operation plate. It is possible to improve the sensitivity of the capacitance-type switch while minimizing malfunctioning.
