Abstract: The display technologies relate to a method and computer-readable medium for displaying image and to a display device configured to perform the method for displaying image. The image display method includes acquiring an image for display in an nth frame on a display screen; detecting a first sub-image and a second sub-image within the image, a resolution of the first sub-image being higher than a resolution of the second sub-image; comparing the first sub-image in the nth frame with a corresponding sub-image in an (n−1)th frame; and refreshing a localized area of the display screen positionally corresponding to the first sub-image to display an interpolated sub-image in the localized area.

Abstract: A picture compensation method and apparatus, a display device and a non-volatile computer-readable storage medium are disclosed. The method includes: partitioning light-emitting devices in a plurality of first partitions based on information of the plurality of first partitions of a backlight source to obtain a plurality of second partitions, wherein the first partition includes a plurality of synchronously controlled light-emitting devices, and the number of rows and the number of columns of light-emitting devices in each of the plurality of second partitions are equal; fitting a luminance diffusion curve of each of the plurality of second partitions based on a luminance diffusion curve of each light-emitting device in each of the plurality of second partitions; determining a backlight value of a pixel unit corresponding to each pixel on a display panel based on the luminance diffusion curve of each of the plurality of second partitions and a gray-scale value of each pixel of an input image; and compensating for a picture of the input image based on the backlight value of each pixel unit.

Abstract: A method for obtaining a backlight intensity may improving data processing speed of a display device. The method includes: dividing image data into N sets of data; calculating a backlight intensity of each backlight block according to a corresponding set of data; for each group of pixels, calculating a backlight intensity corresponding to a first pixel according to a backlight intensity of each effective backlight block corresponding to the first pixel and a backlight diffusion weight of the effective backlight block corresponding to the first pixel; calculating backlight intensities corresponding to second to Mth pixels in the Tth group of pixels according to the backlight intensities corresponding to first pixels in the Tth group of pixels and a (T+1)th group of pixels; and for a Nth group of pixels, setting the backlight intensity corresponding to the first pixel as backlight intensities corresponding to second to Mth pixels.
