Abstract:
A cutting balloon catheter including a balloon mounted on a distal portion of a catheter shaft. An expandable frame may be disposed over the balloon. The expandable frame may include a plurality of struts extending from a proximal end region to a distal end region. One or more cutting members may be secured to the expandable frame.
Abstract:
A transport and delivery system which may be used for injectable materials such as radioactive injectables. The system includes a base configured to hold a material transport device containing the injectable material, and a cover including a material delivery system and a material access device. The cover is configured to be mated over the base to result in alignment of the material access device with the material transport device to allow the material delivery system to deliver the injectable materials from within the material transport device to a patient. A priming cap may be provided to facilitate priming of the material delivery system and material access device to be substantially airless.
Abstract:
Expandable occlusive plugs and methods of using them are disclosed. The devices generally include a tubular body bearing multiple slits defining leaves, which expand radially outward when the ends of the device are brought toward one another.
Abstract:
An atherectomy system may include an atherectomy apparatus including a drive housing, a catheter shaft extending distally from the drive housing, and a rotatable drive shaft extending within the catheter shaft and operably coupled to the drive housing, the rotatable drive shaft having a guidewire lumen configured to receive a guidewire; and a guidewire management device including: a frame including at least one frame rail extending longitudinally; a movable tray slidably coupled to the at least one frame rail; and a guidewire locking element fixed to the frame. The drive housing may be releasably secured to the movable tray.
Abstract:
In some aspects, the present disclosure pertains to self-expanding emboli-capturing centering devices for centering a medical instrument in a conduit within a patient. The centering devices comprise (a) an elongate shaft, (b) a self-expanding centering member having an open distal end and an inner surface forming a central lumen with a flared distal portion, the centering member being configured such that a fluid flowing in a distal-to-proximal direction that is received by the open distal end flows proximally along the flared distal portion of the central lumen before exiting the central lumen through one or more openings in a proximal portion of the centering member, and (c) a filter material configured to filter the fluid received by the open distal end of the centering member. Other aspects of the present disclosure pertain to systems and methods employing such centering devices.

Abstract:
Delivery systems for liquid embolics and methods of using them are disclosed. The devices generally include a catheter and one or more retention elements to limit migration of the liquid embolic to non-target sites.
Abstract:
A valve with a frame and valve leaflets that provide a sinus pocket. The valve provides for unidirectional flow of a liquid through the valve.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides occlusion devices which comprise (a) a self-expanding support frame having a longitudinal axis comprising a plurality of loops each having an orifice, the support frame being self-expandable from a constrained shape to an unconstrained shape, and (b) a covering material covering an orifice of at least one of the loops. Also provided are assemblies and kits that contain such occlusion devices, and methods of delivering such occlusion devices to a patient.
