Each point light source is capable of providing a color light beam. The color light beams are combined into a combined light beam and the colors of the color light beams are different. The at least one light blocking unit is capable of being inserted into a transmission path of at least one of the color light beams at a fixed frequency to block a portion of the color light beam.

摘要: An image display apparatus includes a screen, a reflection mirror, an adaptive optics, and a projection unit. The reflection mirror has a reflective surface facing a light incident surface of the screen, and is separated from the light incident surface by a space. The boundary of the space is defined by the edges of the reflective surface and the light incident surface. The adaptive optics is disposed on the boundary of the space. The projection unit is disposed outside the space. The adaptive optics has a light exit side facing the reflective surface of the reflection mirror, and a light incident side facing the projection unit. A projecting light is generated from the projection unit, passes through the adaptive optics for adjusting the image size formed by the projecting light, and then is projected to the reflective surface of the reflection mirror for being reflected to the light incident surface.

The light source is for providing a light beam. The UV/IR filter is disposed with a tilt angle ranging from 13 degrees to 30 degrees. The color wheel for receiving the light beam transmits a primary color light beam of the light beam in a predetermined time section, and the other color light beam of the light beam is reflected by the color wheel. The means for guiding the light beam reflected by the color wheel toward directions away from the light source further guide a invisible light beam of the light beam reflected from the UV/IR filter.

摘要: A projection display system comprises an illumination device, a prism assembly, a projection lens and a reflective light valve. The prism assembly has a first light incident surface, a first light emitting surface and a second light emitting surface. The first light emitting surface is an optical curved surface. An illumination beam is incident on the light valve after it enters the prism assembly from the first light incident surface. A modulated beam is generated after it is processed through the light valve. Finally, the modulated beam is projected into the projection lens through the prism assembly. Because a surface of the prism assembly is set to be an optical curved surface to replace a lens in the projection lens or the illumination device, a back focal length of the system is shortened and the projection lens or the illumination device is simplified.

摘要: An optical mouse suitable for being put on a surface of an object and including a light source, an image sensor, and a total internal reflection (TIR) prism is provided. The light source is suitable for emitting a light beam, and the TIR prism is disposed between the surface of the object and image sensor located on an optical path of the light beam. The TIR prism has an air gap which reflects the light beam emitted from the light source to the surface. Next, the light beam is reflected by the surface back to the TIR prism, and the light beam reflected by the surface passes through the air gap to be captured by the image sensor. Additionally, an optical mouse using Michelson interference principle is provided. The above-mentioned optical mice improve the accuracy when capturing images and reduce the probability of incorrect image judgment.

摘要: An optical projection and image sensing apparatus including a light source, a light valve, a first lens set, a sensing module, and a beam splitter is provided. The light valve is used to convert an illumination light from the light source to an image light beam. The first lens set is used to project the image light to display an image on a screen, and the sensing module is used to sense a sensing light from the image on the screen. The beam splitter is disposed on the optical paths of the image light and the sensing light from the image on the screen. One of the sensing module and the light valve is disposed on the optical path of the sensing light passing through the beam splitter, and the other is disposed on optical path of the sensing light reflected by the beam splitter.

摘要: An illuminating system and method for improving asymmetric projection includes a light source producing a light beam to form a light path, a projection lens disposed in the light path, a light valve inserted in the light path between the light source and the projection lens, and at least one anamorphic surface unit placed in the light path between the light source and the light valve. The anamorphic surface unit offsets a distortion of a light spot resulted from obliquely incidence on the light valve, thus an asymmetric light spot can be improved as a more symmetric one to increase illuminating collection efficiency and uniformity.

摘要: An optical projection apparatus includes an illumination system, a projection lens unit, a reflective light valve, a first beam breaker and a second beam breaker. A light beam is provided by the illumination system. The projection lens unit and the reflective light valve are disposed on the transmission path of the light beam, and the reflective light valve is disposed between the illumination system and the projection lens unit. The first beam breaker and the second beam breaker are used to cut into the transmission path of the light beam from different directions to block a part of the light beam, and part of the light beam passes through the first beam breaker and the second beam breaker. The darker image projected by the optical projection apparatus has higher contrast and better uniformity.
