摘要: An absorbent wound care device comprising a wound contacting layer comprising an absorbent non-woven bi-component staple fibre material, said staple fibre material comprising fibres having at least one outside portion of highly hydrophilic material and least one inner core of a low-absorbing material, wherein the staple fibre material comprising fibres having at least one outside portion of highly hydrophilic material and least one inner core of a low-absorbing material constitutes above 50% of the fibrous material and wherein the absorbent material consists of mechanically intertwined fibres enables the use of an absorbent material comprising only fibres having at least one outside portion of highly hydrophilic material without having to rely on the presence of wicking fibres, which material is capable of absorbing liquid parts and slough from wound exudates without giving rise to gel blocking and also reduces of the risk of maceration due to wicking of moisture laterally in the plane of the wound to the neighbouring skin.

摘要: The invention relates to a foam dressing with a bevelled edge and where the density at the edge is higher than the density at the central part of the foam. The high density at the edges causes gel blocking of the wound exudate thereby preventing leakage of exudate through the edges. In a preferred embodiment the foam dressing is non-adhesive. The foam dressing may have a water-impervious backing layer, which extends all the way over the top of the dressing and down to the wound-contacting surface. The wound dressing is particularly useful in treatment of venous ulcers in connection with compression bandages, as the bevelling of the edges markedly reduces the indentations in the leg following use of this dressing when compared to a dressing with straight edges.

摘要: A pump for pumping fluid matter from a treatment site in or on a living being comprises three compartments. A motor-driven pumping element is provided for generating a negative pressure within a wound cover at or near the treatment site, and a motor for providing a driving force to the pumping element is provided in the a first one of the compartments. The pumping element is comprised in a second compartment, and a container for collecting liquid pumped from the treatment site is comprised or integrated in a third compartment. The second compartment is detachably connected to the first and/or third compartment, and the third compartment is detachably connected to the first and/or the second compartment.

摘要: The invention concerns a hydraulic valve arrangement (1) with a working connection arrangement having a first working connection (A) and a second working connection (B), both working connections (A, B) being connectable with a hydraulic consumer (2), a supply connection arrangement having a pressure connection (P) and a tank connection (T), a first valve arrangement with a first valve (12), closing the pressure connection (P) or connecting it in a controlled manner with the first working connection (A) or the second working connection (B), a second valve arrangement with a second valve (16), closing the tank connection (T) or connecting it in a controlled manner with the first working connection (A) or the second working connection (B), and a control arrangement controlling the first valve arrangement and the second valve arrangement. In such a valve arrangement, it is endeavoured to achieve improved operation behaviour. For this purpose, at least with one of the two valves (12, 16) a working position can be set, in which the first and the second working connections (A, B) are connected with each other.
