    摘要: A fastening device is provided on a side wall of a positioning frame for fastening of an electronic device disposed in the positioning frame. The fastening device includes a limiting component and a positioning component. The limiting component includes a connecting part connected to an outer face of the side wall, and a limiting part extending from the connecting part and spaced apart from the side wall. The positioning component includes a rod body, and two positioning parts extending respectively from two ends of the rod body. Each of the positioning parts extends into a respective one of two holes in the side wall and a respective one of two blind holes in the electronic device. The rod body is limited from movement in a direction away from the side wall by the limiting part.

    摘要: A fixing mechanism includes a positioning frame for mounting a data access device thereto and including two opposite sidewalls each having two spaced-apart through holes, a plurality of shockproof elements each extending through and being retained in a respective through hole and including a passage, and two positioning rods for positioning the data access device therebetween. The passages of the shockproof elements are adapted to correspond in position with the positioning holes. Each positioning rod includes a main body portion, and two insert portions formed respectively at two opposite ends of the main body portion. Each insert portion extends through the passage of one of the shockproof elements, and is adapted to extend into a respective positioning hole. The shockproof elements are adapted to abut against the data access device when the data access device is positioned between the positioning rods.

    摘要: An ESD prevention circuit is provided. The ESD prevention circuit comprises a voltage source, a charge-blocking unit, a first PMOS transistor, a first NMOS transistor, a second NMOS transistor, and an output unit. The charge-blocking unit is coupled to the voltage source and provides a reverse voltage to control the voltage source to remain at a zero potential when an electrostatic voltage is being generated. The first PMOS transistor is coupled to the charge-blocking unit. The first NMOS transistor is coupled to the first PMOS transistor. The second NMOS transistor is coupled to the first PMOS transistor and the first NMOS transistor. The output unit is coupled to the second NMOS transistor. The electrostatic voltage is affected by the charge-blocking unit and does not raise impendence of the turned-on second NMOS transistor.

    摘要: A method of controlling the molecular weight of poly(cyclic) olefin (norbornene-type) polymers and activating the polymerization thereof with a single material is provided. Such method include adding a chain transfer/activating agent to a mixture of monomer(s), catalyst, solvent and an optional cocatalyst and polymerizing the mixture to form a polymer. It is shown that the amount of chain transfer/activating agent in the mixture can serve to control the molecular weight of the resulting polymer, its percent conversion or both, and in some embodiments the optical density of the resulting polymer.

    摘要: A vibration damping mechanism includes a frame, cushioning members, a heat sink, and fastening members. The frame has a base plate and supporting arms disposed on the base plate. Each cushioning member is disposed on a respective one of the supporting arms, and has a through hole. The heat sink supports a hard disk thereon such that the hard disk lies flat against and is secured on the heat sink, and has a plurality of fastening holes. Each fastening member extends through the respective through hole and threadedly engages the respective fastening hole such that the heat sink is suspended on the supporting arms and abuts against the cushioning members. Thus, the area of contact between the heat sink and the hard disk is increased to enhance the heat transfer efficiency, and the cushioning members provide the heat sink and the hard disk with a cushioning effect.

    摘要: A fastener for a heat-dissipating device is adapted to secure a heat sink on a securing seat. The fastener includes a fastening arm having a plate body and a coupling member adapted to couple with one positioning member of the securing seat, a fastening member disposed spacedly below the plate body opposite to the coupling member and adapted to couple with another positioning member, and two linkage sets. Each linkage set is disposed between the plate body and the fastening member, and includes first and second resilient connecting elements connected respectively to the plate body and the fastening member. The linkage sets are pivotable toward each other to cause the plate body to displace toward the fastening member such that the linkage sets engage two openings in the securing seat.
