Abstract: The present application relates to the electrochemical field, and in particular, to a positive electrode material, and an electrochemical energy storage apparatus having thereof. The present application provides a positive electrode material, including a substrate. The substrate includes secondary particles containing primary particles. A surface of the substrate is coated with an oxide coating layer. The oxide coating layer comprises a coating element, and the coating element is selected from one or more of Al, Ba, Zn, Ti, Zr, Mg, W, Y, Si, Sn, B, Co, or P. The electrochemical energy storage apparatus comprises the foregoing positive electrode material.

Abstract: A positive electrode active material and a preparation method thereof, a secondary battery, and an electric apparatus are provided. The positive electrode active material in the present invention includes: a core, where the core is a lithium-containing phosphate; a first coating layer disposed on at least part of surface of the core, where the first coating layer is a carbon coating layer co-doped with titanium and nitrogen; and a second coating layer disposed on at least part of surface of the first coating layer, where the second coating layer includes Li1+xMxTi2−x(PO4)3, where M is at least one element selected from aluminum, lanthanum, indium, zirconium, gallium, and scandium, and 0.2≤x≤0.8. With use of the positive electrode active material of the present invention, a high discharge capacity, excellent rate performance, and excellent cycling performance can be achieved.

The secondary battery provided in this application has good high-temperature storage performance and high-temperature cycling performance.
