摘要： The present invention provides a virus-like particle (VLP) comprising i) a polypeptide comprising a polypeptide of interest (POI) and at least a particle-associating portion of a large envelope (L) polypeptide of an avian hepadnavirus or a functional derivative or homolog thereof, and ii) a small envelope (S) polypeptide of an avian hepadnavirus or a functional derivative or homolog thereof. By introducing one or more POIs into the L polypeptide, the POI is translocated along with L into a particle structure made up primarily of S polypeptide. The present invention furthermore provides methods for producing a recombinant virus-like particle.

摘要： Screen (10) for a user interface of a television schedule system and process consists of an array (24) of irregular cells (26), which vary in length, corresponding to different television program lengths of one half hour to one-and-one half hours or more. The array is arranged as three columns (28) of one-half hour in duration, and twelve rows (30) of program listings. Some of the program listings overlap two or more of the columns (28) because of their length. Because of the widely varying length of the cells (26), if a conventional cursor used to select a cell location were to simply step from one cell to another, the result would be abrupt changes in the screen (10) as the cursor moved from a cell (26) of several hours length to an adjacent cell in the same row. An effective way of taming the motion is to assume that behind every array (24) is an underlying array of regular cells. By restricting cursor movements to the regular cells, abrupt screen changes will be avoided. With the cursor (32), the entire cell (26) is 3-D highlighted, using a conventional offset shadow (34). The offset shadow (34) is a black bar that underlines the entire cell and wraps around the right edge of the cell. To tag the underlying position—which defines where the cursor (32) is and thus, where it will move next—portions (36) of the black bar outside the current underlying position are segmented, while the current position is painted solid.

摘要： A method is disclosed for matching a test golfer with a particular golf club selected from a group of golf clubs having a plurality of styles. The method utilizes data set derived in an initial procedure in which the club style preferences for each of a large number of pre-test golfers is recorded and correlated with a set of performance parameters for the golf swings of such pre-test golfers. This data enables the pre-test golfers to be classified into subgroups, in which golfers within the same subgroup generally prefer the same club style and golfers in different subgroups generally prefer different club styles. After this data set has been established, the test golfer takes a golf swing with a golf club, while performance parameters for the swing are measured. Based on the measured performance parameters and the previously established data set, the test golfer is classified according to swing type, and the optimum golf-club is then selected from the plurality of styles of golf clubs.

摘要： An implantable incontinence device and method provides for occluding the urethra in preventing urine leakage. The device includes an occluding member connected to a control mechanism. The occluding member is movable from a contracted (occlusive) condition to an expansive (non-occlusive) condition by activating and deactivating the control mechanism. A drug coating is disposed on a portion of the implantable incontinence device. The drug coating elutes a bioaffecting or pharmaceutical composition to minimize capsular tissue formation, so that prevention of urine leakage can be facilitated.

Particularly good results are achieved when using acids of very low solubility in water, such as gentisic acid which is less than 1% soluble at room temperature.
