    摘要: A holder for releasable securement of cartridges in condition for simultaneous loading of the cartridges into the chambers of a revolver's cylinder. The holder comprises a cylindrical body having a plurality of axially extending, radially distributed cartridge-receiving bores adapted to align with and introduce the rounds into the revolver's cylinder chambers. The holder also includes a manually operated cartridge engagement member for axial and rotary movement within the holder body centrally of the bores and having a double star sprocket system whose lateral projections releasably lock each cartridge flange while laterally supporting each cartridge body within the holder in a position of parallelism with a center bore. The holder further includes protected means for releasing the double star sprocket system and thereby releasing the cartridges, when the cartridge ends are in the revolver's cylinder chambers, in response to the pressing of the holder against the rear of the revolver cylinder.

    摘要: A ladder assembly for a work vehicle comprises a deck affixed horizontally just below an entry door of the cab. A yoke is pivotally joined to a support member of the deck for rotation about a vertical axis below the deck surface. The yoke has a pair of arms pivotally joined to an upper end of a ladder structure for allowing rotation of the ladder about a horizontal axis. A turnbuckle is coupled between the support structure of the deck and one stringer of the ladder while a mechanical actuator is operatively coupled to the ladder's other stringer and to an arm of the yoke to which the other stringer is attached. Operation of the mechanical actuator moves the ladder reciprocally between a use position and stowed position where the stowed position is parallel to and immediately below the deck.

    摘要: An improved method for determining an initial flat spot magnitude on a tire that has been resting for a period of time on a substantially flat surface uses regression analysis. In accordance with the method, values of a tire flat spot magnitude for a particular type of tire are determined at a number of measurement intervals by a uniformity machine that spins the tire. An equation having at least two exponentially decaying terms is then determined that corresponds to the measured data points. Regression analysis is then used to determine an estimate for an initial flat spot magnitude. The method can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of different tire designs with respect to flat spot recovery rates.

    摘要: In an implementation of printing system calibration, a calibration system measures colorant levels of a colorant applied to a test element, measures color values of the colorant applied to a print media after the colorant is in the finished state, and establishes a correlation between the measured colorant levels and the measured color values. Further, the calibration system converts the measured colorant levels to corresponding predicted color values based on the correlation, compares the predicted color values to target color values, and calibrates a print unit if a difference between the predicted color values and the target color values exceeds a threshold value.
