摘要： Methods of producing an unsaturated free fatty acid comprising at least 18 carbon atoms are provided. In some embodiments, the methods comprise culturing an engineered microorganism in a culture medium, wherein the engineered microorganism comprises at least one recombinant enzyme selected from acyl-lipid desaturase delta-9 (EC:1.14.19.1), acyl-lipid desaturase delta-12 (EC:1.14.19.6), acyl-lipid desaturase delta-15 (EC:1.14.19.-), and thioesterase (EC:3.1.2.14). Engineered microorganisms comprising at least one of those recombinant enzymes are also provided. The methods and organisms can be used to produce at least one free fatty acid selected from oleic acid, linoleic acid and α-linolenic acid.

摘要： Some embodiments provide methods for use in providing information. These methods comprise: capturing, with one or more cameras of a display device, video along a first direction; detecting an object of interest that is captured in the video; obtaining additional information corresponding to the object of interest; determining an orientation of a user relative to a display of the display device, where the display is oriented opposite to the first direction; determining portions of each of the video images to be displayed based on the determined orientation of the user such that the portions of the video images are configured to appear to the user as though the display device were not positioned between the user and the object of interest; and displaying the portions of video images as they are captured and simultaneously displaying the additional information in cooperation with the object of interest.

In one embodiment, a method can include: indicating a highlight of a first object of a plurality of objects displayed on a display screen; accepting a signal deriving from a first gesture input of a user indicating a neutral position relative to the highlighted first object; accepting a signal deriving from a second gesture input of the user indicating a directional position at least a predetermined distance from the neutral position; and indicating, in response to the second gesture input, a movement of the highlight from the first object to a second object adjacent to the first object, and where the directional position of the second gesture input correlates to a position on the display screen of the second object relative to the first object.

摘要： Disclosed in this specification is a hand-operated dispensing pump for dispensing viscous fluids. The container includes a flexible cap attached to the bottom portion of the container that defines a fluid pumping zone. An elongated tube extends from this zone to a spout that is disposed atop the container. The cap is equipped with at least two one-way valves that selectively permit fluid to pass into the pumping zone when the cap flexes in a first direction and permits fluid to pass out of the pumping zone and out the spout when the cap flexes in a second direction.
