    摘要： A modular automated collection point (ACP) comprises an array of electronically controlled lockers for receiving items for sale or for delivery to customers, a controller and user interface, a parcel weighing and dimensional measuring unit, and a package deposit unit with a one-way door for depositing items for subsequent delivery to other customers or ACPs. Each door preferably moves rapidly from the fully-open position to a partially-open position, and then slowly from the partially-open position towards a fully-closed position. Each locker may comprise a retractable handle and an elongate, rotating closure element which moves the locker door between the fully-closed (locked) position and a nearly-closed (unlocked) position. Preferably the closure element has a cylindrical outer wall which conforms slidingly to the fascia of the lockerbank so as to present a seamless appearance and prevent prising.

    摘要： New substituted 1-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)alkyl-benzamides and their salts, processes for the preparation thereof and pharmaceutical compositions.These compounds have the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 =hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl,R.sub.3 =hydrogen, amino, hydroxyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -hydroxyalkyl,R.sub.4 =hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, orR.sub.3 R.sub.4 N=pyrrolidino, piperidino or morpholino,R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 =hydrogen, hydroxyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, at least one ofR.sub.5 and R.sub.6 being other than hydrogen.These compounds are prepared either by reacting a nitrogen compound with an alkyl 1-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)alkyl-benzoate or with a 1-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)alkyl-benzoic acid, or by hydrolyzing in an acid medium a 2-hydroxy-3-[1-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)alkyl]-benzonitrile.The compounds have anti-ischemic and .alpha..sub.2 -adrenoceptor agonist activities.

    摘要： A device for holding flat objects comprises a motor on the output shaft of which is mounted a rotatable terminator assembly. A turbine is rotatable by the motor within the terminator assembly, which is partly partitioned forwardly of the turbine. The terminator assembly comprises a flat suction chamber open laterally and containing the turbine and a flat holding chamber forward of and communicating with the suction chamber. This has an open holding surface facing forwardly which is closed off by an object to be held. A separate motor-gearbox unit coupled to the terminator assembly controls its orientation relative to the turbine drive motor.
