    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a fuel injector for a gas turbine engine including an end wall defining a fluid chamber, a centerbody, and an outer sleeve surrounding the centerbody from the end wall toward a downstream end of the fuel injector. The centerbody includes an axially extended outer wall and inner wall. The outer wall and inner wall extend from the end wall toward the downstream end of the fuel injector. The outer wall, the inner wall, and the end wall together define a fluid conduit extended in a first direction toward the downstream end of the fuel injector and in a second direction toward an upstream end of the fuel injector. The fluid conduit is in fluid communication with the fluid chamber. The outer wall defines at least one radially oriented fluid injection port in fluid communication with the fluid conduit. The outer sleeve and the centerbody define a premix passage radially therebetween and an outlet at the downstream end of the premix passage. The outer sleeve defines a plurality of radially oriented first air inlet ports in circumferential arrangement at a first axial portion of the outer sleeve. The outer sleeve defines a plurality of radially oriented second air inlet ports in circumferential arrangement at a second axial portion of the outer sleeve.

    Abstract: A fuel injector for a combustor generally includes an annular outer body having an inlet and an outlet. The outer body at least partially defines an outer flow passage. An inner flow passage extends at least partially through the outer flow passage and a radial swirler is disposed at the inlet of the outer body. The radial swirler includes a first radial passage separated from a second radial passage. The first radial passage has a first plurality of swirler vanes and the second radial passage has a second plurality of swirler vanes. The first radial passage is in fluid communication with the outer flow passage and the second radial passage is in fluid communication with the inner flow passage.

    Abstract: A combustor for a gas turbine generally includes a radial flow fuel nozzle having a fuel distribution manifold, and a fuel injection manifold axially separated from the fuel distribution manifold. The fuel injection manifold generally includes an inner side portion, an outer side portion, and a plurality of circumferentially spaced fuel ports that extend through the outer side portion. A plurality of tubes provides axial separation between the fuel distribution manifold and the fuel injection manifold. Each tube defines a fluid communication path between the fuel distribution manifold and the fuel injection manifold.

    Abstract: A fuel nozzle is provided. The fuel nozzle includes a nozzle body, a plurality of swirler vanes, and at least one outlet. The nozzle body includes a back plate, a front plate, and a mixing zone defined therebetween. The back plate includes at least one inlet defined therein and the front plate includes at least one discharge defined therein. The plurality of swirler vanes are positioned between the back plate and the front plate and spaced circumferentially about the mixing zone.
