摘要: An approach is provided for preventing traffic over-reporting via identifying misleading traffic data. The approach involves, for example, detecting a connection attempt between a wireless communication infrastructure device and a plurality of probe devices. The wireless communication infrastructure device is associated with a known height. The approach also involves processing one or more wireless signals associated with the connection attempt to determine height data of the plurality of probe devices. The approach further involves determining based on the height data that at least two of the plurality of probe devices are carried by a single entity. The approach further involves providing data indicating the at least two of the plurality of probe devices as an output.

摘要: Systems and methods for a model for estimation of reliability of a hazard sensor observation at a vehicle are disclosed. An example apparatus may include a hazard observation interface configured to receive one or more hazard observations from the hazard sensor of the vehicle, wherein each of the one or more hazard observations is associated with a hazard location and a hazard timestamp, a ground truth module configured to determine ground truth data from one or more weather records from a historical weather database based on the hazard location and the hazard timestamp, and a model configured to perform a comparison of the one or more hazard observations to the one or more weather records, the model trained for estimation of reliability of the hazard sensor observations based on the comparison of the one or more hazard observations to the one or more weather records.

摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for vehicle localization via frequency audio features. In this regard, a frequency audio signature of audio data received from one or more audio sensors of a vehicle is determined. Location data associated with the vehicle is also determined. Based on the location data for the vehicle, at least a portion of an audio feature map is selected. The audio feature map stores frequency audio signatures associated with road noise in relation to respective locations. Furthermore, the frequency audio signature of the audio data is compared with the frequency audio signatures of the audio feature map. Based on the comparison between the frequency audio signature of the audio data and the frequency audio signatures of the audio feature map, a location of the vehicle is refined to generate updated location data for the vehicle.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided for identifying the reliability of objects within a mapped region for localization and facilitating autonomous control of a vehicle. Methods may include: receiving an indication of an event having event data; assigning at least one object at a location of the event an impact score based on an estimated impact of the event; and providing an indication of a reduction in autonomous vehicle capability in response to the impact score failing to satisfy a predetermined value. The impact score may include a probability that the corresponding object is reliable for localization or autonomous vehicle control. Methods may include providing the indication of a reduction in autonomous vehicle capability to at least one device associated with a vehicle in response to the at least one device associated with the vehicle having a travel path including the at least one road link.

摘要: An approach is provided for generating parking restriction data using a machine learning model. The approach involves determining a plurality of classification features associated with a set of labeled road links. Each of the labeled road links is labeled with a parking restriction label that indicates a parking restriction status of said each of the labeled road links. The approach also involves training the machine learning model to classify an unlabeled road link of the geographic database using the plurality of classification features. The approach further involves determining the plurality of classification features for the unlabeled road link. The approach further involves processing the plurality of classification features for the unlabeled road link using the trained machine learning model to associate an assigned parking restriction label to the unlabeled road link. The approach further involves storing the assigned parking restriction label as the parking restriction data.

摘要: Sensor data captured by one or more sensors coupled to a first entity are received by an apparatus. The sensor data comprises a location of the first entity or representation of surroundings of the first entity. Based at least in part on the sensor data, a second entity is identified. Based at least in part on trajectories along which the first and second entities are respectively traveling, it is expected that the second entity will enter a zone defined around the first entity. Based at least in part on the sensor data, an amount of time until the second entity will enter the zone is determined. The amount of time until the second entity will enter the zone is provided as (a) input to a navigation function and/or (b) to be displayed as a countdown via a display element and/or speaker element of the first entity.

摘要: A method, system, and computer program product is provided, for example, for generating heading information. The method comprises receiving a coordinate information for a gantry. The method further comprises receiving an identification information for a link associated with the gantry. Additionally, the method comprises extracting information related to one or more shape points associated with the link based on the identification information. Further, the method comprises matching the coordinate information for the gantry with at least two consecutive shape points from the one or more shape points, wherein the at least two consecutive shape points are closest from the gantry. Also, the method comprises calculating, by a processor, a heading value for the gantry based on the matching. The heading value for the gantry may be used to identify direction information for the gantry, which may further be used for updates.
