摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for generating a transition variability index related to autonomous driving. In this regard, a first transition variability index is calculated. The first transition variability index is indicative of a first degree of variability in relation to transition of vehicles from respective autonomous levels while traveling proximate a first spatial reference point. Furthermore, a second transition variability index is generated. The second transition variability index is indicative of a second degree of variability in relation to transition of vehicles from respective autonomous levels while traveling along proximate a second spatial reference point. Updating of transition data associated with one of the first and second spatial reference points relative to another one of the first and second spatial reference points is then prioritized based on a comparison between the first transition variability index and the second transition variability index.

The method further comprises generating roadwork zone data of the roadwork zone on the at least second road segment, based on the at least one of map data or the first sensor data, the ground truth data, and the second sensor data.

摘要: An apparatus, method and computer program product are provided for predicting road locations that are likely to induce tire pressure changes. In one example, the apparatus receives historical data of an event in which a first vehicle is impacted by a first tire pressure change at a first road segment. The historical data indicates point-of-interest (POI) information associated with the first road segment. The apparatus trains a prediction model using the historical data. The prediction model is configured to determine a likelihood in which a second road segment induces a second tire pressure change for a second vehicle based on POI information associated with the second road segment.

摘要: Processors determine one or more aggregate confidence scores for a road segment; and based at least in part on the confidence score, determine a map-enabled driving scenario for a road segment. Determining the confidence score for the road segment comprises obtaining feature weights corresponding to road segment characteristics associated with the road segment; obtaining feature data associated with features along the road segment; based on the feature weights, and the feature data, defining continuous parameter range intervals along the road segment; assigning a respective interval confidence score to each continuous parameter range interval along the road segment based on a respective most relevant feature present in that interval; and determining the one or more aggregate confidence scores for the road segment based at least in part on each of the respective interval confidence scores.

摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to identify the class of vehicle driving over a road surface based upon audio data collected as the vehicle drives thereover. With respect to predicting a class of a vehicle, audio data is obtained that is created by the vehicle while driving over the road surface. The audio data includes one or more audio frequency features and/or one or more audio amplitude features. The audio data including the one or more audio frequency features and/or the one or more audio amplitude features is provided to a machine learning model and the class of the vehicle that created the audio data is predicted utilizing the machine learning model. A method, apparatus and computer program product are also provided for training the machine learning model to predict the class of the vehicle driving over the road surface.

Each of the plurality of candidate speed funnels comprises a different pair of learned speed signs selected from the plurality of learned speed signs.

摘要: A vehicle apparatus, for example, receives map data comprising a sensor quality index table; accesses the sensor quality index table to determine an expected sensor effectiveness of a sensor onboard a vehicle along at least a portion of a planned route based on current and/or expected driving conditions; and responsive to determining that the expected sensor effectiveness for the at least one sensor satisfies a threshold requirement, perform a low sensor quality mitigation function. The vehicle apparatus is onboard the vehicle and is in communication with the sensor onboard the vehicle. The sensor quality index table may be generated by a network apparatus based on a plurality of sensor quality communications, generated by probe apparatuses, that are partitioned based on location and timestamp. Sensor quality index tables may be aggregated to generate driving condition tables.
