    Abstract: A common information transmission method and an apparatus relate to the communications field, and to reduce repeated sending of common information from a base station to a plurality of user equipments (UEs) during sending of the common information, and improve utilization of resources between the base station and the UEs. The method includes obtaining, by UE, frequency domain location information of a first transmission bandwidth, determining, by the UE, a size and a location of the first transmission bandwidth in a bandwidth of the UE according to the frequency domain location information, where the bandwidth of the UE is one of system bandwidths, and receiving, by the UE over the first transmission bandwidth according to the size and the location of the first transmission bandwidth, common information sent by a base station.

    Abstract: The method in the embodiment of the present invention includes: determining a shared frequency band, and a cell of the shared frequency band is a secondary serving cell of UE1 that performs communication by using the first network and a secondary serving cell of UE2 that performs communication by using the second network, and both the UE1 and the UE2 can work on the shared frequency band and at least one other frequency band than the shared frequency band; and transmitting only a common signal of the second network on the shared frequency band when service transmission of the first network is performed on the shared frequency band.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a cell configuration method, a method for implementing synchronization between a user equipment and a base station, a user equipment, and a base station. The cell configuration method includes: determining, by a first base station corresponding to a first cell, system information of a second cell; and notifying, by the first base station, a second base station corresponding to the second cell of the system information, so that the second base station sends and receives signals according to the system information. According to the solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention, system information of a cell may be dynamically or semi-statically adjusted according to user equipment distribution and service distribution, so that network resources can be better provided for a user equipment that needs them, a capability of serving the user equipment is improved.

    Abstract: A method for virtual carrier aggregation, a base station, and a user equipment are provided. A base station receives measurement capability indication information and indication information indicating a capability of receiving data transmission that are reported by a UE. The base station selects a measurement set for the UE according to the measurement capability indication information, and sends the measurement set to the UE, where the indication information indicating the capability of receiving data transmission includes information of carriers on which the UE supports concurrent receiving of data transmission and the measurement capability indication information includes indication information indicating a capability of the UE for measuring CSI and/or indication information indicating a capability of the UE for measuring RSRP. The base station can flexibly select an activated carrier set for the UE.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a method for acquiring information of access resources, a terminal device, and a base station. A terminal device detects a synchronization signal of a cell to be accessed by the terminal device. The terminal device further receives a broadcast channel of the cell on a broadcast channel resource. The terminal device then determines a resource on which the cell is located according to resource indication information carried in the broadcast channel. The broadcast channel resource corresponds to an actual access resource, and the synchronization signal is detected on the actual access resource. The actual access resource is one of a plurality of candidate access resources of the cell. The resource indication information indicates a location relationship between the actual access resource and the resource on which the cell is located.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a method, a terminal, and a base station for transmitting information. In the embodiments of the present application, subframe configuration information of a first carrier is obtained, where the subframe configuration information is used to indicate a type-1 subframe of the first carrier and a type-2 subframe of the first carrier, the type-1 subframe is used for the base station to transmit, in system bandwidth, first information including a first CRS, the first CRS is used for demodulation, and the type-2 subframe is not used for the base station to transmit a CRS used for demodulation, so that the terminal can receive, according to the subframe configuration information and on the first carrier, information sent by the base station.
