Abstract: A common information transmission method and an apparatus relate to the communications field, and to reduce repeated sending of common information from a base station to a plurality of user equipments (UEs) during sending of the common information, and improve utilization of resources between the base station and the UEs. The method includes obtaining, by UE, frequency domain location information of a first transmission bandwidth, determining, by the UE, a size and a location of the first transmission bandwidth in a bandwidth of the UE according to the frequency domain location information, where the bandwidth of the UE is one of system bandwidths, and receiving, by the UE over the first transmission bandwidth according to the size and the location of the first transmission bandwidth, common information sent by a base station.

Abstract: In a bandwidth allocation method, user equipment (UE) receives virtual bandwidth configuration information and performs signal reception and/or signal processing according to a virtual bandwidth indicated by the virtual bandwidth configuration information, where the virtual bandwidth configuration information is used for indicating a configuration of the virtual bandwidth. The virtual bandwidth is a part or all of a downlink maximum available bandwidth or a downlink transmission bandwidth, and the downlink maximum available bandwidth is a maximum bandwidth available for downlink transmission. In this way, reduction of overheads and reduction of complexity of signal reception and signal processing are implemented, and overheads and complexity of signal reception and processing feedback can be flexibly controlled.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a cell configuration method, a method for implementing synchronization between a user equipment and a base station, a user equipment, and a base station. The cell configuration method includes: determining, by a first base station corresponding to a first cell, system information of a second cell; and notifying, by the first base station, a second base station corresponding to the second cell of the system information, so that the second base station sends and receives signals according to the system information. According to the solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention, system information of a cell may be dynamically or semi-statically adjusted according to user equipment distribution and service distribution, so that network resources can be better provided for a user equipment that needs them, a capability of serving the user equipment is improved.

Abstract: A method for virtual carrier aggregation, a base station, and a user equipment are provided. A base station receives measurement capability indication information and indication information indicating a capability of receiving data transmission that are reported by a UE. The base station selects a measurement set for the UE according to the measurement capability indication information, and sends the measurement set to the UE, where the indication information indicating the capability of receiving data transmission includes information of carriers on which the UE supports concurrent receiving of data transmission and the measurement capability indication information includes indication information indicating a capability of the UE for measuring CSI and/or indication information indicating a capability of the UE for measuring RSRP. The base station can flexibly select an activated carrier set for the UE.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a method for acquiring information of access resources, a terminal device, and a base station. A terminal device detects a synchronization signal of a cell to be accessed by the terminal device. The terminal device further receives a broadcast channel of the cell on a broadcast channel resource. The terminal device then determines a resource on which the cell is located according to resource indication information carried in the broadcast channel. The broadcast channel resource corresponds to an actual access resource, and the synchronization signal is detected on the actual access resource. The actual access resource is one of a plurality of candidate access resources of the cell. The resource indication information indicates a location relationship between the actual access resource and the resource on which the cell is located.
