    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an uplink control information sending method, an uplink control information receiving method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, channel indication information from an access network device on a physical control channel; determining the channel resource set that is of N channel resource sets and that matches a type or a size of the UCI as a first channel resource set; determining a channel resource that is in the first channel resource set and that is indicated by the channel indication information; and sending uplink control information UCI to the access network device on the channel resource. A quantity of bits that need to be added to the channel indication information in the embodiments of the present invention is less than that in the prior art.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for determining an interleaver, including: determining an interleaver identifier according to a binding parameter and a preset association relationship between the interleaver identifier and the binding parameter; performing interleaving processing on to-be-sent data by using an interleaver corresponding to the interleaver identifier; and performing de-interleaving processing on received data by using the interleaver corresponding to the interleaver identifier. An embodiment of the present invention further provides a corresponding device. According to technical solutions of the present invention, during data transmission, a UE and an eNodeB can accurately learn an interleaver that is used by the other party, thereby de-interleaving data correctly.

    Abstract: A communication method, a base station, user equipment, and a system are provided. The method includes: receiving uplink data that is sent by the user equipment in a specified multiple-access manner on a time-frequency resource corresponding to the specified multiple-access manner; and sending downlink data to the user equipment in a corresponding multiple-access manner on a time-frequency resource corresponding to the corresponding multiple-access manner, where the corresponding multiple-access manner is a multiple-access manner that is obtained by searching a at least two multiple-access manners according to a prestored correspondence and that is associated with the specified multiple-access manner. In this way, a problem that because one multiple-access manner is used in a same communications system, requirements of different user equipments cannot be met at the same time is resolved.

    Abstract: The power requirements of user equipments (UEs) are expected to increase as their capabilities increase. Some power saving methods have previously been proposed, but are limited by the radio resource control (RRC) protocol and do not address the power consumption associated with having to transition between different RRC states. In some embodiments described herein, there are not different RRC states, but instead a single RRC state. Within that single RRC state, there are different modes of operation, e.g. a default low power operation mode and an enhanced power operation mode. In some embodiments, the UE switches from the default operation mode to the enhanced operation mode on an on-demand basis (e.g. based on the communication capability required by the UE), and then returns back to the default operation mode.
